Unmanned aerial vehicle
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) adapted for transit in and deployment from a projectile casing is provided. The UAV includes a wing assembly coupled to the projectile casing and the wing assembly moveable between a closed position and a deployed position. The UAV further includes a propulsion system including at least one rotor disposed on the wing assembly to generate lift, wherein in the closed position, the wing assembly is substantially integral with the projectile casing and in the deployed position, the wing assembly is extended outwards from the projectile casing.
Mobile aerial drone early warning privacy breach detect, intercept, and defend systems and methods
Systems and methods for aerial unmanned vehicle (for example, drone) early warning privacy breach detection, interception, and defense are disclosed. The system detects drones within a threshold distance of an individual or configurable location, notifies the individual of the drones' existence, tracks the drones, and executes countermeasures. The system can communicate with telecommunication networks or other sources (for example, FAA) to identify and filter out drones that are authorized to be in the airspace around the individual.
SYSTEM FOR COLLABORATIVE THREAT EVASION TACTICS COORDINATION
A system with a first mobile entity and second mobile entities is described. The system implements an approach where the second mobile entities are commanded to move along a predetermined trajectory to protect the first mobile entity from external threats.
Counter UAV drone system using electromagnetic pulse
In general, the present invention is directed to airborne security measures and more specifically to a device and method to defeat in total a plurality of approaching Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) with a single sacrificial intercepting drone. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the intercepting drone may be configured with an attached Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) generation device capable of producing a sufficiently intense EMP burst to completely disable all approaching UAVs.
Drone payload—energetic weapons pod
A lightweight energetic weapons pod 2 that integrates to unmanned aerial systems 1 that enables the operator the ability to engage targets without flight degradation. The device utilizes an energetic weapons pod 2 that may be reloaded to support sustained combat operations. The ability of the device to function as intended is based on explosive mitigation compression zones and recoilless configurations that allow drone survivability during detonation events.
ELEVON CONTROL SYSTEM
A system comprising an aerial vehicle or an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) configured to control pitch, roll, and/or yaw via airfoils having resiliently mounted trailing edges opposed by fuselage-house deflecting actuator horns. Embodiments include one or more rudder elements which may be rotatably attached and actuated by an effector member disposed within the fuselage housing and extendible in part to engage the one or more rudder elements.
Anchored Aerial Countermeasures for Rapid Deployment and Neutralizing Of Target Aerial Vehicles
A system for neutralization of a target aerial vehicle comprises a plurality of counter-attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and an aerial vehicle detection system comprising at least one detection sensor operable to detect the target aerial vehicle in flight. The system also comprises an aerial vehicle capture countermeasure in the form of a net tethering the plurality of counter-attack UAVs to one another. The counter-attack UAV(s) are operable to capture and neutralize the target aerial vehicle with the net. The system can comprise at least one net storage device associated with a structure and configured to store at least a portion of the net when in a stowed position, and to facilitate deployment of the net when moved to a deployed position via coordinated flight of the plurality of counter-attack UAVs based on the detected target aerial vehicle.
Systems and methods for subduing target individuals using unmanned aerial vehicles
Disclosed herein are systems and method for subduing target individuals using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) comprises deploying one or more UAVs to a location of an individual. The method obtains information about the individual from the one or more UAVs and external sources. The method assigns an aggression factor to the individual based on the obtained information. In response to determining that the aggression factor is greater than an aggression threshold, the method prepares a neutralization action designed to reduce the aggression factor of the individual by: identifying one or more exception conditions of the individual, and selecting, from a plurality of neutralization actions that the one or more UAVs are capable of performing, a neutralization action based on the one or more exception conditions. The method then instructs the one or more UAVs to perform the selected neutralization action on the hostile individuals.
Payload platform for unmanned vehicles
A system that is mountable to an unmanned vehicle and a method of operation is provided. The system includes an attachment plate configured to couple to the unmanned vehicle, the attachment plate having a first feature. A control module is configured to removably couple to the attachment plate, the control module having one or more processors and a power source, the control module having a pin arranged to move from a first position to a second position when the control module is coupled to the attachment plate, the one or more processors being energized when the pin is moved from the first position to the second position. A payload having an energetic element is provided, the payload being coupled to the control module.
UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE WITH NON-LETHAL NEUROMUSCULAR INCAPACITATION SYSTEM
The present invention provides an unmanned aerial vehicle with non-lethal neuromuscular incapacitation system comprising a body, a plurality of rotary assemblies secured to the body and configured to provide lift, a control system disposed within the body, and a telescoping stinger assembly mounted on the body. The telescoping stinger assembly comprises an elongated projectile having a barb at a first end thereof, a wire having a first end attached to a second end of the elongated projectile, a high voltage pulse power supply attached to a second end of the wire, and firing mechanism for launching the projectile from the telescoping stinger assembly toward a target. A protective cage may be attached to and surround the body of the UAV. The non-lethal incapacitation mechanism may include a plurality of stinging stickers attached to a periphery of the protective cage, a RF power supply and RF transmitter attached to the body of the unmanned aerial vehicle, or a mechanism affixed to the body of the unmanned aerial vehicle for discharging a liquid or powder substance at a target. Alternatively, a rotary sting arm may be affixed to the body by a rotary brush high-voltage connection; and a sting arm motor mounted proximate to a center of the body may be used to impart rotary motion to the rotary sting arm.
