Based on the first subject being present, the processor is further configured to determine the state of the first subject based on the sensing data from the arrangement of sensors and then determine whether to alert the second subject based on the state of the first subject. An alarm is provided for alerting the second subject.

The disclosed system may also include an inertial measurement unit. The disclosed system further includes a processor that receives data from the pressure sensors and/or the inertial measurement unit. The processor determines a gait pattern of the child patient based on the received data. Indicative of determining the gait pattern is a toe-to-toe gait pattern, the processor causes the vibration actuator to provide haptic feedback to the child patient for correcting their tow walking gait.
