Filtered product bag with compact form factor
A product bag includes a bladder and an elongated filtration device. The bladder includes opposing first and second film layers defining a product chamber. The first and second film layers are sealed together along a perimeter seal extending along at least a portion of a perimeter of the bladder. The elongated filtration device includes a housing, a filtration membrane disposed in the housing, an inlet adapted for receiving a fluid to be filtered, and an outlet in fluid communication with the product chamber. A majority of the elongated filtration device is embedded between the first and second film layers of the perimeter seal of the bladder to provide for a compact form factor.
Systems and methods for capping
A pharmaceutical order filling system uses a physical parameter that occurs during attaching cap to a pharmaceutical container to determine if the cap is properly engaged. The physical parameter may be torque on the cap when placed on the container. An order processing device receives a pharmaceutical order and sends the order to a dispensing device that fills the container with a pharmaceutical in the pharmaceutical order. A cap device is configured to apply the cap the container containing the pharmaceutical from the dispensing device, wherein the cap device is configured to sense the physical parameter, e.g., torque, to the cap when applying the cap to the container.
AUTOMATIC SYRINGE HANDLING SYSTEM
An automated syringe handling system that will safely, securely, and quickly assemble syringes or other medical devices under controlled/sterile conditions while maintaining the syringes in a stable orientation and eliminating unnecessary operator contact with the syringes and working area.
Devices, systems and methods for medicament delivery
A method includes moving an actuation lock of a medical injector from a first position to a second position. The actuation lock has an extended portion disposed between a shoulder of a housing and the base when the actuation lock is in the first position. The extended portion is spaced apart from the base when the actuation lock is in the second position. A distal end portion of a base, which is movably coupled to an end portion of the housing, is placed into contact with a body. The base is actuated after the placing to release an energy from an energy storage member within the housing to produce a force to move a needle from a first needle position to a second needle position. At least a portion of the needle extends through the base when the needle is in the second needle position.
System and method for filling a closed container with a fixative solution
The present invention relates to a method and a system (400) for filling a closed container (200) with a fixative solution. The system comprises a container (200) comprising a container body (230) for receiving a biological specimen, a lid (220) for selectively closing the container body (230) and a port (100) forming a unidirectional barrier in a direction from the inside (IC) to the outside (OC) of the closed container (200). The system further comprises a dispensing apparatus (500) having a filling nozzle (300) for dispensing the fixative solution. The filling nozzle (300) is relatively moveable with respect to the container (200) between a retracted position and a filling position to fill the container (200) with the fixative solution.
Apparatus, system and method for fluid delivery
A filling aid. The filling aid includes a locking portion including a groove feature; and a locking feature having a locked and an unlocked position; and a filling syringe holder slidably attached to the locking portion, the filling syringe holder including a filling needle cradle portion having a tongue feature; and a needle housing portion comprising at least one tab having a starting position and a filling position, wherein the groove feature configured to accommodate the tongue feature, and wherein the locking feature interact with the filling syringe holder wherein when the locking feature moves from the locked position to the unlocked position the needle housing portion moves from the starting position to the filling position.
Method for closing cartridges, supporting structure for supporting cartridge closures and transport or packaging container
A transport or packaging container accommodating a plurality of supporting structures for closures, for transporting or packaging closures for closing cartridges for use in pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic applications, in which the transport or packaging container is box-shaped and includes a bottom, which is closed or sealed by a seal, upstanding lower side-walls extending essentially perpendicularly from the bottom, a circumferential supporting step extending horizontally from the upstanding lower side-walls, upper side-walls extending upward from said circumferential supporting step, and a circumferential flange formed at upper ends of the upper side-walls; and the plurality of supporting structures for closures is accommodated inside the transport or packaging container.
System comprising alternating filling of containers
A system for filling containers, in particular syringes, comprising a multi-track transport device for transporting a plurality of rows of containers in a transport direction; at least two weighing devices, which are arranged in succession in the transport direction; at least one multi-track filling station, wherein the number of tracks of the filling station matches the number of tracks of the transport device; at least one sealing station; means for placing each row of containers on one of the at least two weighing devices; and control configured to actuate the transport device such that each row of containers is placed at a relevant weighing device for a filling process, wherein the row of containers merely passes by the other weighing devices without being placed at these other weighing devices for a filling process.
MODULAR ASEPTIC PRODUCTION SYSTEM
A modular production system including a plurality of production modules connected in a linear series to form a production tunnel, and collectively defining a production channel, and wherein at least one fluid inlet port defined along the production tunnel, said inlet port is in fluid communication with a pressurized fluid source, whereby influx of fluid from said fluid source through said fluid inlet port acts to maintain the fluid pressure within the production channel at a higher pressure than the atmospheric pressure outside of the production tunnel; and wherein one of said production modules positioned between said proximal-most and distal-most production modules comprises a depyrogenator and/or sterilization module, comprising a transparent tubular body, and an irradiation source positioned external to said transparent tubular body, said irradiation source capable of heating the internal environment of the depyrogenation and/or sterilization module to a temperature sufficient to depyrogenate or sterilize articles passing therethrough, and associated processes.
TAMPER EVIDENT PLASTIC CLOSURE FOR VIALS FOR STORING SUBSTANCES FOR MEDICAL OR PHARMACEUTICAL APPLICATIONS AND USE THEREOF
The invention relates to a tamper evident plastic closure for necked vials, for holding a plug in a mouth of a vial, comprising: a tubular locking body configured to be locked at the neck of the vial, and a cap coupled with the tubular locking body. The tubular locking body comprises a retaining member for retaining the plug, a central opening being formed in the retaining member for providing access to the inside of the vial via the plug.
