20210253281 · 2021-08-19 ·

The present disclosure is directed to a non-traceable vent tube and a traceable vent tube cap apparatus, system and methods incorporating a traceable material such as a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag or a magnet for use in conjunction with a filling machine during container filling operations for a quicker and more accurate detection of the location of the non-traceable vent tube or the traceable vent tube cap after becoming detached from a filling machine during filling operations, and to increase the safety of the filling operation and reduce costs and time when a malfunction occurs.

A Method of Filling a Cartridge for a Vapour Generating System
20230399134 · 2023-12-14 · ·

A cartridge for a vapour generating system includes a reservoir for storing a vapour generating liquid. A method of filling the cartridge includes: (i) introducing (S1) a vapour generating liquid into the reservoir via a first opening; (ii) venting (S2) air from the reservoir via a second opening during step (i); and (iii) positioning (S3) first and second valves in the corresponding first and second openings to seal the first and openings to prevent the escape of vapour generating liquid from the reservoir through the first and second openings.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REFILLING AN ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE CARTRIDGE

A system and method for refilling an electronic cigarette cartridge provide an efficient means to refill a cartridge of an electronic cigarette with an e-liquid. The system includes a refillable cartridge operable inside an electronic cigarette. The cartridge has an elongated cavity that contains an e-liquid. The cartridge also has a closed-end and an open end. A silicone seal covers the open end. An injection needle penetrates the seal to inject an e-liquid into the cavity. Adjacent to the injection needle, a vent needle penetrates the airtight silicone seal to create a passageway for air to simultaneously escape the airtight cartridge while e-liquid is being injected therein. In this manner, an equilibrium is formed inside the cavity, creating a smoother refilling. In alternative embodiments, the retail package encapsulates the cartridge, whereby injection and vent needles penetrate both the retail package and the seal.

Device and method for filling an electric cigarette

The invention discloses a device for filling an electric cigarette, more specifically for filling a consumable-material tank of an electric cigarette wherein the device has a first tank for accommodating a consumable material and a second tank for accommodating air, wherein the device is designed such that the volumes of the tanks can be altered inversely by means of an actuating device, and therefore a pressing action and an intake action can be established at connections of the tanks. By virtue of the device being connected to a consumable-material tank of an electric cigarette, it is thus possible, while the consumable-material tank is being filled with consumable material, for the air displaced by the consumable material to be simultaneously extracted from the electric cigarette.

FOAMING AND FILL LEVEL CONTROL THROUGH STRETCH ROD

Methods and systems for simultaneously forming and filling a container from a preform with fluid, adjusting a fill point of the fluid, and removing air and/or foam from within the container. One of the methods includes injecting fluid from a fill source into the preform through a nozzle passage defined between the nozzle and a seal pin of the forming and filling system to simultaneously form the container from the preform and fill the container. After the container is formed and filled, the seal pin is actuated to close the nozzle passage and prevent fluid and air from exiting the container through the nozzle passage, thereby trapping fluid and air within the container under pressure. Air, fluid, and/or foam is extracted out from within the container through a passageway defined within a stretch rod to adjust a fill point of the container.

Liquid blow molding method

A liquid blow molding method of molding a synthetic resin preform having a mouth portion into a liquid container of a predetermined shape, the method including: an air-liquid replacement step of exhausting the air inside the preform to the outside while a liquid is supplied into the preform from the mouth portion through a blow nozzle; an air-liquid separation step of separating the air from the liquid inside the preform by rotating the preform about an axial center of the mouth portion; and a blow molding step of molding the preform into a container of a predetermined shape by supplying a pressurized liquid into the preform from the mouth portion through the blow nozzle, after the air-liquid separation step.
