Method for manufacturing a device for dispensing a product
11919669 · 2024-03-05 · ·

A method for manufacturing a device for dispensing a product, including a supply of a device having a reservoir, the reservoir being connected to a deformable chamber and being provided with a filling opening, the interior of the deformable chamber being delimited at least in part by a movable wall, a displacement of which causes a variation in the volume of the deformable chamber, a step of filling of the chamber deformable through a filling valve, a step of filling of the reservoir with product, and a closing step in which the filling opening is closed. Application includes, for example, the pharmaceutical or cosmetic or agro-food industry.

Sealant cartridge air release apparatus and methods

Sealant cartridge press fixtures are disclosed. The fixtures include a bracket comprising first and second side arms that receive a sealant cartridge therebetween. A transverse support bar connected to the first and second side arm is attached to a sealant filling nozzle. An air pressure cylinder mounted on the bracket includes a reciprocating piston rod that contacts and deforms a sidewall of the sealant cartridge at the beginning of a filling operation to allow trapped air to escape from the cartridge. An empty sealant cartridge having a slidable plunger therein is mounted at its front end on the sealant filling nozzle. The sealant is initially dispensed into the cartridge in the space between the front end of the cartridge and the plunger. While pressing and deforming the sidewall, it temporarily creates a gap between an interior surface of the sidewall and a plunger. The gap allows unwanted trapped air to escape from the sealant cartridge.

A method and apparatus for collecting and storing urine comprises a collecting funnel and collection tank. The funnel has a valve that opens flow of urine begins and closes once the flow stops based on a flow sensor. The flow time of urine is recorded and used to regulate the evacuation and inert gas filling of a head space in the collection container once the urine is collected. The inert gas protects the urine from oxidation so that degradation is minimized while in the collection container. A similar control can be exercised when a bottle is filled with urine from the collection container, wherein head space in the bottle is filled with inert gas for oxidation protection to form a finished package. The head space of finished package can be evacuated to minimize degradation of the urine once the urine is accessed an initial time in the finished package.

Filling head for filling a tank with a liquid

A filling head for filling a tank with a liquid, the filling head delimiting a conduit for filling the tank which extends axially along a filling axis from an upstream section which is adapted to receive a filling nozzle, up to a downstream section which is designed to be connected on the tank to fill, and a degassing circuit including an inlet which is adapted to be connected on the tank and an outlet in communication with the outside, the filling head being characterized in that it delimits a suction window which connects the downstream section of the filling conduit on the degassing circuit, so as to promote the suction of the gases via the degassing circuit, during the filling of the tank.
