System and method for monitoring activities of daily living of a person
Presented is a system and method for monitoring activities of daily living, ADLs, of a person within an environment containing an object that is controllable by the person via a control system. The system comprises a data collection unit adapted to obtain control data from the control system, the control data being based on one or more control signals generated by the control system for controlling the object. A data analysis unit is 5 adapted to determine an ADL event of the person based on the obtained control data.
CUSTOMIZABLE PATCHES
A compact integrated patch may be used to collect physiological data. The patch may be wireless. The patch may comprise a plurality of sensors, each sensor configured to collect different health related data from a subject to which the patch is attached, and a communication interface configured to wirelessly and directly communicate with a mobile device, wherein the mobile device is capable of running a plurality of applications, wherein each application of said plurality is configured to utilize data from different subsets of sensors from the plurality of sensors, to provide different monitoring activities for the subject. The patch may be utilized in everyday life as well as in clinical environments.
Monitoring System and Analysis and Control of Body Activities
A body monitoring system is designed for patients of varying needs with patients at risk for seizures, epilepsy, stroke, heart attack, bedsores, dementia, mental disorders, Old aged people on elderly, children specifically hyperactive ones. This system provides the user the control by online observation and activities algebra sum table sand database. The system has two warning systems: in APP and cell phone in the emergency. A plurality of sensors measuring angle and movement and acceleration in the XYZ axes in combination with a plurality of GPS sensors and GPS boundary makers and a heart rate sensor is used. Show and control and monitoring positions of the body during resting and the time and place activities and body movement of patients the states and tensions have problems psychological. Online display current status of patient and saving the states and conditions of the patient.
Device, system and method for assessing the ability of a person to carry out one or more activities
The present invention relates to a device for assessing the ability of a person to carry out one or more activities, comprising an input unit for receiving physiological and/or behavioural data of the person, the physiological and/or behavioural data being related to one or more first level activities, a determination unit for determining a performance grade of the person regarding each first level activity based on the received physiological and/or behavioural data, and an assessment unit configured to assess an ability grade of the person to carry out one or more second level activities based on the determined performance grade, wherein each second level activity relates to one or more associated first level activities, wherein the assessment unit is further configured to output information indicative of the assessed ability grade.
Assessment and advice on nutrition, endurance, and strength
The present invention relates to a new integrated, holistic approach to empower older adults to enhance their quality of life and independence through a personalized lifestyle and nutrition program. This is achieved by measuring the physical status of the adults with respect to strength and endurance. In addition, their nutritional status is assessed. Based on those assessments recommendations are provided with respect to particular exercise programs and nutrients that support the functions bones, muscles and cartilage. These methods can be implemented as a software program and executed on computer systems.
Aging Measuring Instrument Based on Walking Speed
Provided is a frailty diagnosis method including: setting, by a processor, a setting value for measuring a walking speed according to positions of at least two measuring devices; detecting, by the at least two measuring devices, a movement of a frailty diagnosis-target person; measuring, by the processor, a walking speed of the frailty diagnosis-target person based on the movement of the frailty diagnosis-target person according to the setting value; and determining, by the processor, a frailty index of the frailty diagnosis-target person based on the measured walking speed.
COGNITIVE FUNCTION EVALUATION DEVICE, COGNITIVE FUNCTION EVALUATION SYSTEM, COGNITIVE FUNCTION EVALUATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A cognitive function evaluation device includes: an instruction unit that instructs quick pronunciation of pseudoword in which a predetermined syllable is repeated; an obtainment unit that obtains voice data indicating a voice of an evaluatee who has received an instruction; a calculation unit that calculates a feature from the voice data obtained by the obtainment unit; an evaluation unit that evaluates a cognitive function of the evaluatee from the feature calculated by the calculation unit; and an output unit that outputs a result of the evaluation by the evaluation unit.
ABNORMAL DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM AND ABNORMAL DATA PROCESSING METHOD
The abnormal data processing system is provided with: a storage unit for holding a multiple-subject DB in which data on multiple subjects are accumulated and individual-subject DB in which data on individual subjects are accumulated; an individual-subject DB divergence-degree calculation unit for calculating an individual-subject DB divergence degree which is the degree of divergence of the new data from the individual-subject DB; a multiple-subject DB divergence degree calculation unit for calculating a multiple-subject DB divergence degree which is the degree of divergence of the new data from the multiple-subject DB; and a composite divergence degree calculation unit for determining a composite divergence by compositing the individual-subject DB divergence degree and the multiple-subject DB divergence degree using the number of data instances in the individual-subject DB. The abnormal data processing system determines whether or not the new data is abnormal on the basis of the composite divergence degree.
Forecasting Mood Changes from Digital Biomarkers
The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for forecasting mood changes from digital biomarkers and more generally for forecasting changes in a neuropsychological clinical assessment. User interaction data indicative of a user's interaction with a mobile device is passively captured over a period of time. A function mapping (modeling a neuropsychological test for a brain health metric) is executed to compute a digital biomarker for a brain health metric from the captured user interaction data. A prior digital biomarker for the brain health metric (computed from previously captured user interaction data by executing the function mapping) is accessed. A difference is detected between the digital biomarker and the prior digital biomarker. A change in a score of the neuropsychological test score is forecast to occur within a specified time range in the future based on the detected differences. The forecast change is output.
