PACKAGING DEVICE AND PROCESS FOR ARTICLES TO BE PACKAGED
A packaging device and a process for packaging articles arranged according to a predetermined pattern and supplied on a conveyor line are presented, where buffers for the preparation of layers to be packaged are eliminated, while maintaining a high degree of flexibility for a wide range of formats. The packaging device includes one or more transfer devices that pick up the articles and deposit them in layers. The transfer devices have a handling member connected to a respective gripping device, both movable along three orthogonal axes. Each gripping device has gripping elements to pick up an article from the conveyor line. The gripping elements are arranged to form, on each gripping device, a single layer of articles. Each layer is obtained with one or more pickings from the conveyor line, in order to place the articles in a single operation in a respective container of the flow.
Apparatus and method for maintaining a pattern of non-rigid objects in a desired position and orientation
An apparatus and method for maintaining a pattern of non-rigid objects in a desired position and orientation. The first surface, second surface, and third surface are mutually orthogonal and meet at a point to form a lowest corner. The second and third surfaces are supported by, attached to and extend at least somewhat vertically from the apparatus. The first surface is oriented at an angle to a plane running through a bottom of the apparatus and thereby provides the lowest corner.
A method and an apparatus for dispensing drugs and/or vitamins into dispensing units
“The invention relates to a method for dispensing drugs and/or vitamins to dispensing units, in which method one or more dispensing units are placed onto a drug dispensing tray. In the method according to the invention, the drugs and/or vitamins are dispensed into the dispensing units by a robot having an arm or a corresponding movable means, whose tip is equipped with a dispensing device for feeding drugs and/or vitamins in relation to it, the robot moving the dispensing device in relation to the drug dispensing tray for dispensing drugs into the dispensing units. The invention also relates to an apparatus for dispensing drugs and/or vitamins into dispensing units.”
Apparatus for packaging dosed quantities of solid drug portions comprising moving collecting containers and an ancillary dosing station
An apparatus for packaging dosed quantities of solid drug portions includes multiple storage containers and dosing elements for storing and dispensing first dosed quantities of drug portions, multiple moving collecting containers for collecting and outputting drug portions to a packaging station, and fall tubes for guiding the drug portions dispensed by the dosing elements to the collecting containers. An ancillary dosing station has multiple buffer receptacles for storing and delivering second dosed quantities of drug portions to the collecting containers. A conveyor moves the collecting containers between multiple locations along a predetermined path. A controller controls closure members of the buffer receptacles depending on the positions of the moving collecting containers so that drug portions temporarily held in the buffer receptacles are output to selected collecting containers.
System and method for packaging dosed quantities of solid drug portions
A system for packaging dosed quantities of solid drug portions comprises a plurality of dosing stations for dispensing a dosed quantity of solid drug portions, a plurality of guiding ducts, a plurality of collecting containers for receiving drug portions guided through the guiding ducts, and at least one discharge and packaging station for transferring drug portions collected by each collecting container to a packaging and for closing the packaging. The guiding ducts are coupled to a transport means for moving the guiding ducts along the dosing stations, wherein each guiding duct is adapted to receive drug portions dispensed from at least one of the dosing stations when the guiding duct is positioned at the at least one dosing station, and to guide the received drug portions to an passage opening of the guiding duct. The collecting containers are also coupled to the transport means so that each collecting container can be positioned at the passage opening of one of the guiding ducts to receive drug portions guided through the guiding duct.
Method and apparatus for inserting packages into cartons
For the automatic insertion of packs (11) into a large-volume carton (10), two work tools are used, namely, a pack robot (33) with carton holder (30) for holding the cartons (10) ready and a pack robot (33) with head (37) for inserting the individual packs (11) one after another into the carton (10) in the region of a packing station (33). Through relative movement of carton (10) and pack (11), different pack formations are created within the carton (10).
Machine, process, container and packaging for packing tetrahedral-shaped products
A machine for packing tetrahedral products is disclosed which includes a conveyor belt driven in a first direction (F1) along a longitudinal direction (L), as well as a first handler suitable for grasping tetrahedral products carried the conveyor belt. The first handler has a handling head suitable for grasping a plurality of tetrahedral products arranged on the conveyor belt, in which one or more accumulators suitable for accumulating the tetrahedral products in a row are arranged along the conveyor belt. A rotating device is arranged along the conveyor belt before the accumulators for rotating a tetrahedral product with an orientation substantially opposite with respect to the preceding tetrahedral product on the same conveyor belt. The present invention also relates to a process which can be carried out by the machine, as well as a container and/or a packaging filled by means of such machine and/or process.
Tablet feeder and pharmacy system
A tablet feeder comprises a device body, a plurality of tablet cassettes disposed on one face of the device body 1 in a vertical direction, each tablet cassette accommodating a plurality of tablets by kind, and a plurality of chutes disposed on one face of the device body 1 in a vertical direction and shifted in a horizontal direction, the chutes temporarily storing the tablets dispensed from the tablet cassette and having the dispensing portion at the downward portion thereof, the dispensing portion being capable of dispensing the tablets to a bottomed cylindrical tablet container.
Articulating apparatus with shipping wedge
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, an endoscopic surgical device is provided. The surgical device includes a handle assembly including a drive mechanism actuatable by a trigger; and an endoscopic assembly including a proximal end portion extending from the handle assembly; a distal end portion pivotably connected to the proximal end portion of the endoscopic assembly; and a rotatable inner actuation shaft extending from the handle assembly and into the distal end portion of the endoscopic assembly, the inner actuation shaft including a flexible portion extending across the pivot connection. The surgical device includes an end effector selectively connectable to the distal end portion of the endoscopic assembly and to a distal portion of the rotatable inner actuation shaft. The surgical device includes a shipping wedge to support an end effector.
