PHARMACY PACKAGING SYSTEM
A packaging unit and method for packaging pharmaceuticals into pouches. The packaging unit includes a feed stock roll to form pouches and an electronic processor electrically coupled to the packaging equipment. The electronic processor is configured to determine an amount of pharmaceuticals being loaded into the pouch, determine a length of the pouch based on the amount of pharmaceuticals, and control the packaging equipment to form the pouch having the length.
Firewood transport and storage assembly
A reusable container for storage, transport, and sale of firewood. The container has a rectangular floor panel supporting a plurality of vertically disposed wall panels. The wall panels are connected at a first end to the base so as to provide a container having an open top for loading firewood into the container. One or more handles are secured to a second end of one or more wall panels and a closure mechanism is provided for closing a portion of the second end of one or more of the wall panels around the firewood in the container. The container is a reusable container.

PROTEIN PREPARATION AND PACKAGING METHODS, SYSTEMS AND RELATED DEVICES
The disclosure relates to preparation, processing, and packaging of fresh foods, particularly proteins. In various implementations, the methods include steps for ozone exposure, reduction of surface moisture, introduction of a modified atmosphere, and high pressure pasteurization. Prior to packaging the protein may be exposed to ozone and undergo dehydration to reduce the amount of moisture on the surface of the protein. The protein may then be packaged in a modified atmosphere, lacking oxygen, and then undergo high-pressure pasteurization.
Oral pouch product having soft edge and method of making
An oral pouch product having a soft edge includes an inner filling material enclosed inwardly of at least one seam between opposed layers of porous pouch wrapper. The at least one seam is separated from the periphery of the porous pouch wrapper by an unbonded area of the opposed layers so as to form a soft edge of the pouch wrapper.

APPARATUS FOR THE PACKAGING OF CONTAINERS OF DEVICES FOR PHARMACEUTICAL USE
An apparatus for packaging containers of devices for pharmaceutical use includes a robotic arm movable from a gripping position, in which it picks up a container previously sealed by at least one protective sheet, to a release position in which it inserts the container into a bag through a suitable opening provided on a side of the bag; wherein the robotic arm is connected to at least one position control camera configured to read coordinates of a midpoint of the opening with respect to a lying plane on which the bag lies and/or an angle of rotation of the bag with respect to an axis perpendicular to the lying plane, so as to ensure the correct positioning and release of the container inside the bag.

Functionalized particulate support material and methods of making and using the same
Functionalized particulate support material and chromatographic media prepared therefrom are disclosed. The functionalized particulate support material is a plurality of particles, each particle having a particle surface. Chemically bonded to and extending from the surface of the particles is a combination of hydrophobic and hydrophilic functional groups. The hydrophobic functional groups enable polymerization of one or more monomers onto the particle surface while the hydrophilic functional groups provide increased wettability of the particle surface compared to an unmodified particle surface. The functionalized particulate support material may be further processed so as to form polymer chains extending from the hydrophobic functional groups. In one embodiment, the resulting polymer functionalized material is useful as a chromatographic media in chromatography columns or cartridges, such as in a liquid chromatography (HPLC) column. Chromatography columns or cartridges containing the polymer functionalized media, and methods of making and using the media, are also disclosed.
