PACKAGING MACHINE FOR BEDDING PRODUCTS
A packaging machine for packaging a product. The machine has a frame for supporting the product and a source of packaging material for supplying packaging material into a position to be engaged by and at least partially surround the product. At least one upper sealing assembly is adapted to move between an actuated position and a non-actuated position. The upper sealing assembly comprises at least one sealing element for forming a seal along adjacent edges of the packaging material. At least one lower sealing assembly is adapted for cooperating engagement with the upper sealing assembly in its actuated position. The at least one upper and lower sealing assemblies are positioned for clamping engagement of the packaging material therebetween for forming the seal when the upper sealing assembly is moved to its actuated position in engagement with the lower sealing assembly.
Method of upholstering truss
An apparatus for upholstering a truss allows an operator to staple a fabric web to the truss, rotate the truss, further staple the semi-finished truss and cut the fabric web. The truss is fully upholstered after the end surfaces of the truss are wrapped up in fabric and the fabric stapled in place. The apparatus may accommodate different size trusses. A web of fabric is pulled around at least one roller in the apparatus by rotation of two vise mechanisms on opposite sides of the truss.
Flexible tubular package for edible product
A squeezable, flexible tubular package for an edible product is compartmented to simultaneously hold a first edible product in one compartment separate from a second edible product in another juxtaposed compartment. The package includes an elongated enclosure defined by a pair of transparent, flexible film strips bonded to one another around the periphery thereof by a liquid tight seal; and a membrane situated between the film strips, bonded to the periphery of the film strips by a liquid tight seal, partitioning the enclosure into a pair of juxtaposed, liquid tight compartments. An extrudable, edible product is separately contained in each of the compartments. Apparatus for continuously and successively forming, filling and sealing articulated arrays of such packaged products is also disclosed.
Machine for automatically making a pouch type container
Comprises a flexible band feeding unit (10); a positioning unit (14) to position and fix on the flexible band (12) some first functional elements (3); a flexible band cross-cutting unit (16) providing cut sheets pieces (17) with a first functional element (3) fixed to it; a station (18) configured to shape the container by folding a cut sheet piece (17) including a supporting rod (22) with retention means of the cut sheet piece; a station (19) welding lateral sides of the folded cut sheet piece (17) forming the container (2) with un upper non-sealed edge and a station (20) transferring the formed container (2) to a line configured for filling a dosed product into the container (2) and closing the non-sealed edge of the container (2).
PHARMACY PACKAGING SYSTEM
A packaging unit and method for packaging pharmaceuticals into pouches. The packaging unit includes a dispensing area to receive cassettes that contain pharmaceuticals and packaging equipment in communication with the dispensing area. The packaging unit also includes a control system coupled to the packaging equipment to control operation of the packaging equipment and a chute connecting the dispensing area to the packaging equipment. The chute includes a plurality of tracks, each track corresponding to one of the cassettes supported on the dispensing area. The packaging unit includes a receptacle supported by the packaging equipment between the chute and a feed stock roll. The plurality of tracks converge to direct the pharmaceuticals that are dispensed from the cassettes into the receptacle and the receptacle directs the pharmaceuticals received from the plurality of tracks as a group into the pouches formed by the feed stock roll.

Pharmacy packaging system and pouch
A pouch and an automatic packager for packaging medications into the pouch. One embodiment provides a pouch for containing a plurality of medications. The pouch includes a plurality of discrete compartments, each containing a sub-batch of medications. The pouch also includes serrations at opposite ends of the pouch to separate the pouch from adjacent pouches. The pouch further includes a continuous identifier that spans multiple compartments to give an appearance of one continuous pouch. The plurality of discrete compartments are separated by seals, but not serrations. The continuous identifier includes a border within the opposite ends of the pouch.
COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING THYMOL AND AMINO ACIDS FOR USE IN THE TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATORY OR FUNCTIONAL INTESTINAL DISORDERS
The present invention relates to compositions comprising thymol and at least one amino acid for use in the preventive and/or curative treatment of inflammatory or functional diseases or symptoms of the intestinal tract by modulating the receptors and/or enzymes of the endocannabinoid system in mammalian or non-mammalian monogastric subjects, such as human subjects, pigs, poultry animals, fish or crustaceans.
Gas-based material compression and portioning
An apparatus includes a fixed assembly and a reciprocating assembly. The fixed assembly includes a hopper, a first gas manifold, and a dispensing chamber, and the reciprocating assembly includes a channel assembly defining a channel conduit, a shield plate vertically aligned therewith, and a second gas manifold. The reciprocating assembly may move, in relation to the fixed assembly, to a first position to enable the channel conduit to be filled with bulk compressible material from the hopper, a second position to enable compressible material to be pushed from the channel conduit to the dispensing conduit and to be compressed in the dispensing chamber according to a first gas directed through the channel conduit by the first gas manifold, and a third position to enable the compressed material to be pushed out of the dispensing conduit according to a second gas directed through the dispensing conduit by the second gas manifold.
Method and Apparatus for Manufacturing an Aerosol Generating Pod
A method of manufacturing an aerosol generating pod includes providing aerosol generating material; positioning sheet material over opposite sides of the aerosol generating material; and punching the aerosol generating material and the sheet material from one of the opposite sides to form an aerosol generating pod including aerosol generating material covered by the sheet material. An apparatus for manufacturing an aerosol generating pod is also provided.
