STERILIZATION APPARATUS, PACKAGING MACHINE HAVING A STERILIZATION APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR STERILIZING
A sterilization apparatus for sterilizing a web of packaging material advancing along a web advancement path-comprises an irradiation device for sterilizing the advancing packaging material web, a main shielding chamber housing the irradiation device and comprising an advancement channel having an inlet opening and an outlet opening and through which, in use, the packaging material web advances along the sterilization portion, an auxiliary shielding chamber upstream of the advancement channel along the web advancement path, the auxiliary shielding chamber having an inner space in fluid connection with the advancement channel and comprising an extraction opening allowing gas extraction from the auxiliary shielding chamber. An aspiration device generates a first flow of gas within the advancement channel from the outlet opening to the inlet opening and a second flow of gas from the inlet opening to the extraction opening.
METHOD OF FEEDING WEB AND RECLOSURES TO A FORM FILL SEAL MACHINE (as amended)
The present disclosure relates to a reclosures in a transverse direction (TD) application, wherein the reclosures include only one consumer side flange, rather than two. That is, the reclosures are missing a flange on the consumer side. A first aspect of the disclosure fills the inverted pouch or package and orients the reclosure with the consumer flange on the leading edge. A second aspect of the disclosure fills the package in a non-inverted configuration and includes a peel seal between the two product side leading flanges below the profile.

FILLING LINE FOR PRODUCING FOODS MADE OF A PASTY MASS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A filling line is provided and includes a first filling machine having a first machine controller, and one or more second filling machines having a second machine controller, which is selectively operable independently of the first filling machine. The filling line also includes a data interface for connecting the machine controllers to each other for control communication. The machine controllers are configured to be operated reciprocally either in a slave control mode or in a master control mode, depending on control information provided. The slave control mode transmits read and write rights in respect of recipe-relevant process parameters to the machine controller operated in the master control mode, and the master control mode implements the transferred read and write rights in the machine controller operated in the master control mode. A method for operating such a filling line is also provided.

Waste disposal system having a manual actuator and a rotator
A waste pail having a manual actuator to indirectly turn a rotator, both of which are enclosed in a lid casing. The rotator rotates the inner collar of the waste pail, and the inner collar is attached to the top rim of a trash bag. A user may twist the trash bag open only when the lid casing is closed, thereby preventing the escape of odor from within the trash bag.
A CART ASSEMBLY FOR A CONVEYING DEVICE
A cart assembly for a conveying device comprises a body element, movable along a conveying path, and at least one tool carried by the body element between an operative position, in which the tool performs an operation on an article, and an idle position, in which the tool is in a stand-by condition; and a guide mechanism configured to allow the tool movement with respect to the body element. The guide mechanism comprises two first guide elements, extending parallel to a given direction, and one second guide element, also extending parallel to the direction and interposed between the first guide elements. The first and second guide elements are slidably coupled to permit relative movement along the direction of the second guide element relative to the first guide elements or vice versa; the second guide element has opposite lateral surfaces parallel to the direction cooperating in contact with both respective first guide elements.
BUNDLED PRODUCT AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING THE SAME
A direct-to-consumer heat shrunk bundled product made up of a plurality of paper product rolls each individually packaged by a first package material and arranged relative to one another so as to form a bundle, the bundle being packaged by a second package material, wherein a substantial portion of the inner surface of the second package material is in contact with the first package material of the plurality of paper product rolls and is nonstick relative to the first package material. The bundle includes fused end seals so that the bundle does not include open gussets that might otherwise catch on machinery during sorting and shipping. The packaging material and/or wrapper may include laser energy absorbing material or adhesive.

Packaging material
A bulk-based packaging material is provided, comprising at least one crease line for facilitating folding of the packaging material to a package. The at least one crease line is formed as an imprint on a primary side of the packaging material, and as an embossment on a secondary side of the packaging material, wherein the imprint is formed as an elongated groove having a triangular profile.
