20170332930 · 2017-11-23 ·

Methods and systems provide for quick and precise analysis of ECG data, with a simple and understandable visualization and an effective way of communicating the proposed diagnosis suggestion to the medical personnel. Systems and methods detect electrical potentials from at least one lead and process at least one signal. The measurement itself may be executed on the raw signal, to compare measured parameters with a set of criterions related to various diseases, for example to sudden death syndrome.

MUSIC SELECTION BASED ON EXERCISE DETECTION

Techniques for music selection based on exercise detection are disclosed. In one aspect, a method of operating a wearable device may involve determining, based on output of one or more biometric sensors, that a user of the wearable device has started an exercise and playing music for the user of the wearable device in response to determining the start of the exercise. For example, playing the music may involve turning on a music player based on the start of the exercise. In another example, the wearable device includes the music player.

Feedback signals from image data of athletic performance
11263919 · 2022-03-01 · ·

Aspects of this disclosure relate to improving an athlete's ability to synchronize the movement of their body in time. Certain embodiments provide a feedback system that allows an athlete (or another individual, such as a trainer) to comprehend and optimize the timing of one or more components or features of an athletic movement. Image data, such as video, of an athlete performing physical activity may be utilized (alone or in combination with non-image data) may be used to generate and emit real-time feedback signals to provide an indication of tempo to the athlete. Still further aspects relate to using image and/or other sensor data to detect improper timing and/or movements of an athlete, and in response generating real-time feedback signals.

Methods, systems and devices for measuring heart rate

A system and method of tracking activity includes a motion sensor, a light source and a light detector. The light detector is configured to capture an amount of the light that is reflected back to the light detector, at least a first portion of the light reflected back to the light detector is reflected from a blood vessel disposed under a skin adjacent to the housing. A processor is in communication with the motion sensor and the light detector and can process the reflected light to identify heart beats and produce an indication of a heart rate. The indication of the heart rate can be displayed on the display screen as an option, in addition to the metrics that quantify the motion data.

Telemetry integrated system

A system for the integrated/functional detection of different measurements is described. The system comprises a part wearable by a driver of a vehicle and plurality of sensors integrated in the wearable part and configured to supply the following driver parameters: breathing parameters, heart parameters, perspiration parameters and of the pressure exerted on the vehicle driving wheel. The system also includes a processor for processing the driver parameters and correlating them to a driver psychophysical condition.

Implantable micro-sensor to quantify dissolved inert gas

Methods and devices including implantable micro-sensors used to detect tissue-dissolved inert gas and to detect microbubble formation to avoid Caisson disease are described. The disclosed methods and devices are based on measuring the refractive index changes in hydrophobic liquids after absorbing an inert gas such as nitrogen. The changes in the refractive index are based on implementing one of an interferometry, optical microcavity resonance shift, a photonic crystal resonance, a beam deflection, a resonance tuning or detuning, an amplitude change, or an intensity change method.

VALIDATING USER IDENTITY USING ATHLETIC ACTIVITY

Example embodiments relate to systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media relating to a user interface, that may for example, receive and/or process physical activity data and allow interaction with the received information in novel implementations. A computing device may use data indicating activity performed by a user for a plurality of time periods to validate an identity of the user.

Athletic Band with Removable Module

A performance monitoring system includes an athletic band or other article of apparel worn by a user, with a pocket supported by the article and defining a cavity, where the pocket has a sensor opening extending through an inner wall of the pocket and an access opening providing access to the cavity. The system also includes an electronic module received in the cavity such that the module can be inserted and removed from the cavity through the access opening. The module has a projection on an underside of the electronic module and a sensor mounted on the projection, where the projection extends through the sensor opening when the electronic module is received in the cavity and is configured to place the sensor in close proximity to skin of the user, such that the sensor is configured to sense a physiological parameter of the user.
