PASS THROUGH DEVICE FOR WRAPPING OBJECTS
A device and corresponding systems and methods are provided for wrapping an object resting on an object conveyor defining an object path, the object conveyor conveying the object in a forward direction along the object path, the device comprising: an orbital wrapping mechanism configured to travel in an elliptical path around the object path and to deposit a stretch wrapping material; a wrapping material conveyor configured for cooperation with the object conveyor, the wrapping material conveyor positioned beneath the object conveyor such that when the orbital wrapping mechanism travels along the elliptical path, the orbital wrapping mechanism deposits the stretch wrapping material around both at least a portion of the object and at least a portion of the wrapping material conveyor, the wrapping material conveyor having at least one bearing surface in contact with the stretch wrapping material and movable in a forward direction such that the stretch wrapping material is conveyed along with the object in the forward direction.
Film cutter for in-line hay bale wrapper
An in line bale hay bale wrapper with an selective automatic film cutter.
WRAPPING MACHINE
A wrapping machine for wrapping groups of products (100) with an extensible plastic film (50) in order to form bundles (200), comprises first conveyor means (2) for supporting and moving a group of products (100) along an advancing direction (A) inside the wrapping machine (1), supporting means (3; 103) for receiving from the first conveyor means (2) and supporting the group of products (100), a wrapping unit (10) for wrapping a portion (51) of film (50) having a preset length around the group of products (100), supported by the supporting means (3; 103), in order to form a bundle (200), a supplying unit (30) of the film (50) to supply the wrapping unit (10) with the film portion (51) having a preset length, separated from the film (50) unwound from a respective reel (55); the supporting means (3; 103) include first gripping means (4; 104) arranged to hold an initial flap (51a) of the film portion (51) during the wrapping of the group of products (100); containment means (6; 60) are provided to abut at least sidewalls of the group of products (100) in order to support and guide said products (100) when moved along the advancing direction (A) through the wrapping unit (10) and/or to support and restrain the group of products (100) during the wrapping with the portion (51) of film (50).
Thermal Knife For Orbital Pallet Wrappers
An orbital wrapping apparatus for wrapping a cargo in a stretch film includes a base frame. The orbital wrapping apparatus further includes a circular ring. The orbital wrapping apparatus further includes a stretch film dispenser. The orbital wrapping apparatus further includes a cutting assembly having a thermally heated blade.
Stretch Film Dispenser For Orbital Pallet Wrappers
An orbital wrapping apparatus for wrapping a cargo in a stretch film comprises a base frame, a circular ring assembly mounted on the base frame and rotatable with respect to the base frame about an axis of rotation, a stretch film dispenser mounted on the circular ring assembly and rotatable with the circular ring assembly about the axis of rotation, and a cutting assembly mounted to the base frame and extending through an opening defined by the circular ring assembly. The stretch film dispenser has a roll of stretch film dispensing the stretch film by rotation of the circular ring assembly. The cutting assembly is adapted to cut and hold the stretch film.
WRAPPING MACHINE
A wrapping machine for wrapping material around a load includes a wrapping unit to wrap a portion of the material around the load and a supplying unit to supply the material portion to the wrapping unit. The wrapping unit includes wrapping device to unwind the material portion from the supplying unit and wrap it around the load. The wrapping unit includes a supporting ring, rotating around a wrapping axis and provided with a plurality of wrapping rollers, and an unwinding arm having a first end rotatably fixed to the support ring and a second end supporting at least one unwinding roller to abut and guide the portion of material towards the load during wrapping. The unwinding arm is movable to move the unwinding roller to/from the load during wrapping.
Wrapping device
A wrapping device to wrap an object in foil material including a frame, a wrapping table mounted on the frame and configured to support the object during wrapping, one or more roll support devices to support one or more rolls of foil material to be rotated about the object during wrapping, a carrying structure mounted on the frame and configured to carry the one or more roll support devices, and a clamping and cutting device to clamp the foil material after wrapping of an object, and to cut the clamped foil material, wherein the clamping and cutting device is mounted on the carrying structure, and wherein the carrying structure is pivotable about a substantially horizontal pivot axis with respect to the frame.
CONTAINMENT FORCE-BASED WRAPPING
Control of a wrapping apparatus is facilitated by enabling an operator to input a load containment force requirement and/or a minimum number of layers of packaging material to be applied to a load, with a wrap control system automatically determining wrap force and other parameters required to meet user input requirements and/or parameters to minimize the expertise required of an operator and to provide more consistent and reliable wrapping of loads. In addition, a wrapping apparatus may be controlled to apply at least a minimum number of layers of packaging material to a load throughout a contiguous region thereof.
SELF-PROPELLED WRAPPING MACHINE AND WRAPPING AND CONTROL METHODS
A self-propelled wrapping machine movable on a supporting plane to wrap a load with a film has a self-propelled carriage provided with a drive wheel, an upright slidably supporting an unwinding unit provided with a reel of film, an actuator to operate the drive wheel and the unwinding unit along the upright, a control unit to control the actuator, and a scanning device to scan a defined area of the supporting plane to detect a possible obstacle in the area and in the presence of the obstacle to send an obstacle alarm signal to the control unit to stop the actuator. The scanning device is configured to scan a first area of the supporting plane during a wrapping cycle of a load and a second area during a manual maneuvering procedure, the second area being smaller than the first area.
Bale wrapping device and method of operation thereof
A method and a bale wrapping device for wrapping a bale. The method includes receiving a bale at a bale moving ramp device of the bale wrapping device. The bale on the bale moving ramp device is moved through a bale wrapping frame. The breathable sheet of wrapping material is applied on the bale to wrap the bale as the bale passes through the bale wrapping frame, and a roller on the bale wrapping frame holds a roll of the breathable sheet of wrapping material.
