Electronic control of metered film dispensing in a wrapping apparatus
An apparatus for wrapping a load may include a film dispenser for dispensing a film web including a film dispensing drive. The apparatus may also include a rotational drive system for providing relative rotation between the load and the dispenser during a wrapping cycle. The apparatus may further include a controller configured to operatively couple the film dispensing drive and the rotational drive system such that, for any portion of a revolution of the film dispenser relative to the load during the wrapping cycle, the film dispenser dispenses a selected length of the film web corresponding to the portion of the revolution.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR A WHEELED LOAD
A locking device associable to a wrapping machine for locking in a defined locked position a wheeled load to be wrapped with a plastics film, the locking device including a first element elongated along a first direction and arranged to rest on, and be fixed to, a supporting plane of the wrapping machine, and a second element connected to the first element. The second element is provided with a seat open on the supporting plane and includes an inlet opening for allowing a first wheel of the wheeled load be inserted into, or disengaged from, the seat along an insertion direction, and a recess arranged to be engaged by the first wheel in the locked position so as to prevent the first wheel from moving along the first direction and along a second direction, which is substantially orthogonal to the first direction, and from disengaging from the seat.
Method and Apparatus For Banding Rolls With Paper
A method and apparatus for banding rolls of bags is disclosed. It can include a bag machine and/or a winder as the source of rolls. The bander includes multiple banding stations. The source of rolls provides rolls at a faster rate than any banding station can apply bands. By selectively using each banding station the bander can have the same throughput as the source of rolls of bags.
Net wrapping system
The disclosure relates to a system and method for wrapping bales in a harvester that uses wrapping material stored in flat, folded layers instead of conventional round tubes or rolls, and specifically to a system for positioning and cutting the wrapping material during and after the process of wrapping a bale, the system comprising: a first feed roll, configured for dispensing a portion of wrapping material from a bundle; a feed plate system, configured to receive wrapping material and capable of applying a first amount of tension to the portion of wrapping material; and at least one cutting knife, positioned between the feed plate system and the bale chamber, such cutting knife independently movable from a first position to a second position; and a wrapping material channel positioned in operable communication with the bundle of wrapping material, the wrapping mechanism and the bale chamber.

Stretch wrapping machine with curve fit control of dispense rate
A method, apparatus and program product utilize curve fitting to control a dispense rate for a packaging material dispenser. Predicted demands at a plurality of rotational positions of a load relative to a packaging material dispenser may be used to generate one or more points to which a curve may be fit, such that dispense rates may be determined for rotational positions between those for which predicted demands have been determined using the curve.
Custom packaging process and equipment for stretch wrapping easels
A method of packaging easel includes attaching an easel packaging fixture to a rotatable turntable of a stretch wrapping apparatus that includes a tower and a carriage movable along the tower. An easel bundle is positioned on the easel packaging fixture. Each easel bundle includes one or more easels with a lower portion inserted into a bottom cap and an upper portion inserted into a top cap. The turntable is rotated, causing rotation of the easel packaging fixture and the easel bundle with respect to the stretch wrapping apparatus. As the easel packaging fixture rotates, a wrapping material from the carriage of the stretch wrapping apparatus wraps around the easel bundle. The carriage moves along the length of the tower to wrap a length of the easel bundle.
Bead wire wrapper device and a wrapper method
The present invention discloses a bead wire wrapper device and a wrapper method. The bead wire wrapper device comprises a rack body; the rack body is provided with a winding unit, an H-shaped wheel assembly, a paper cutting mechanism, a paper guiding mechanism and a rubber applying mechanism; the winding unit comprises a first winding shaft and a second winding shaft; the H-shaped wheel assembly comprises an H-shaped wheel and a drive unit driving the H-shaped wheel to rotate; the paper cutting mechanism is configured to cut off film materials directly or indirectly fed by the winding unit; the paper guiding mechanism comprises a motion mechanism, the motion mechanism is provided with an adsorption assembly and a pressing assembly, the adsorption assembly is configured to adsorb the film materials through negative pressure and send the cut-off tail ends of the film materials to the H-shaped wheel under the action of the motion mechanism, and the pressing assembly is configured to move to the H-shaped wheel under the action of the motion mechanism and press the film materials; and the rubber applying mechanism is configured to paste rubber strips to the film materials on the H-shaped wheel.
BALER IMPLEMENT WITH INTEGRATED WRAP SYSTEM
A crop baler implement includes a baling chamber sized to form crop material into a parallelepiped shape bale having longitudinal faces and transverse faces. The implement includes a carriage disposed rearward of the baling chamber. The carriage includes a tray positioned to receive the bale from the baling chamber in a first orientation, in which the longitudinal faces of the bale are parallel with a longitudinal frame axis. A longitudinal wrapping assembly may wrap the longitudinal faces of the bale when the bale is in the first orientation. The tray is rotatable relative to the carriage about a substantially vertical tray axis to move the bale from the first orientation to a second orientation, in which the transverse faces of the bale are parallel with the longitudinal frame axis. A transverse wrapping assembly may wrap the transverse faces of the bale when the bale is in the second orientation.
