METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HEAT RESISTANT COATINGS
A blister pack includes a housing having a plurality of cavities and a cover sealed to the housing and enclosing the cavities. The cover including a base layer, at least one security element, and a heat protective layer. The heat protective layer includes one of an amorphous polymer and a semi-crystalline polymer.
Packing member and packing method
A packing member includes a structure for accommodating an object-to-be-accommodated and a cylindrical sheet for covering the structure. The cylindrical sheet includes a first portion having a heat contraction property and includes a second portion having an elasticity higher than that of the first portion. The first portion has a display portion. The display portion is provided on a surface extending along a predetermined direction of the structure. Free end portions of the first portion and the second portion contract to surround an end surface of the structure crossing the predetermined direction of the structure.

Cross seal devices for package forming systems and related methods
Cross Seal Devices and related methods are provided. A cross seal device for forming ends of packages being formed in a packaging forming system can include an anvil configured to extend transverse to a product pathway of a packaging forming system along which top and bottom sheet materials travel. The cross seal device can also include a track positioned above the anvil transverse to the product pathway. Further, the cross seal device can include a carriage configured to operate along the track. The carriage can include one or more rollers configured to engage the anvil to form a pressure contact between the anvil and the roller so that the top and bottom sheet materials are joined together.

Vacuum cleaning unit for blister packaging
A vacuum cleaning unit for use with blister packaging includes a plate configured to closely overlie a conveyor having open blister packaging containing objects to be packaged, such as brushes. Angled slots on a lower portion of the plate apply full and uniform coverage of wells of the blister packaging as the packaging is indexed below the plate by the conveyor. Open areas of the plate are spaced apart by solid areas on either side of an open central area of the plate in flow communication with a source of vacuum or suction. The solid and open areas cooperate with the slots to direct air from the edges to the central suction area in a manner that keeps the objects in the wells more stable as they enter and exit the suction area.

Film edge sealing device
A film fin sealing device is disclosed herein which may have a groove defining a base. The base of the groove of the fin sealing device may be oriented at a skewed angle with respect to a longitudinal direction of the conveyor of a heat sealing machine. Edges of a thermoplastic sheet or two stacked layers of thermoplastic sheets are introduced into the groove of the film fin sealing device and placed in contact therewith to both heat and fuse the distal edge portions of the thermoplastic sheet(s) to join the edge portions thereof to form a fin seal.
