Modular baler
A modular baler comprises a baling chamber; a displaceable pusher block in the baling chamber interior; a hydraulic cylinder comprising a cylinder rod displaceable into and out of a cylinder casing; a shear module; and wherein the baling chamber is attachable to the cylinder frame, with the cylinder rod attached to the pusher block. The baler fits in elevators unlike prior art. The shear module cuts material that is placed into the baling chamber. When the baling chamber is full, the baling chamber top is closed. Pressurized hydraulic oil flows into the cylinder rod, causing its longitudinal displacement, causing the longitudinal displacement of the pusher block which is attached to the cylinder rod, thereby compressing material in the baling chamber. The material is removed from the baling chamber, providing volume reduction of scrap waste metal over prior art.
Stacking and strapping system for material packages
A lumber stacking and strapping system can provide a single-station solution for both lumber stacking and package strapping. In addition, the package strapping system may apply multiple straps simultaneously to the package. For example, a package stacking and strapping system can provide not only a mechanism for formulating a package of lumber one layer at a time, but also a mechanism for lowering a completed package directly into a compression and strapping station, such as using the lumber stacker package accumulation hoist. The stacking and strapping system can then simultaneously apply strapping around the package in multiple positions along the length of the package, with bottom battens and top corner protectors further supplied and strapped into place as desired. A method for stacking and strapping a package in a single location is also provided.
WIRE REEL FOR REBAR TYING MACHINE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A wire reel for rebar tying machine including a reel and a wire wound therearound and an engagement portion at which an earlier-wound part of the wire may be engaged with a later-wound part of the wire by the later-wound part of the wire sinking below the earlier-wound part of the wire. A manufacturing method of a wire reel for rebar tying machine includes: fixing one end of a wire to a reel; winding the wire around the reel by feeding the wire while rotating the reel; and stopping the feeding of the wire while rotating the reel to cause a later-wound part of the wire to sink below an earlier-wound part of the wire such that the later-wound part of the wire engages with the earlier-wound part of the wire.

SHOCK ABSORBING FEED WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A strapping machine of the type that feeds, retracts, tensions and seals strap to itself to form a loop of strap around a load, has a shock absorbing feed wheel assembly. The machine includes a frame, a feed head having a motor, a tension head, a sealing head and a strap chute mounted to the frame. The feed wheel assembly has a friction engaging surface and at least one pocket formed therein. A spring hub is engaged with the feed wheel and has at least one pocket formed therein corresponding to the feed wheel pocket. The spring hub is operably connected to the feed head motor. At least one spring is positioned in the feed wheel pocket and the spring hub pocket and is sandwiched between the feed wheel and the spring hub. The feed wheel is driven by rotation of the spring hub and engagement of the spring with the feed wheel pocket and spring hub pocket. The shock absorbing feed wheel assembly dampens the forces on the feed head motor and drive when the feed wheel comes to an abrupt stop and prevents strap slippage.
Strapping device having a display and operating apparatus
A mobile strapping device for wrapping material to be packed with a strap. The strapping device includes a modular assembly that includes a display and operating apparatus and at least part of a controller of the strapping device.

Modular strapping machine for steel strap
A modular strapping machine feeds steel strapping material around a load, tensions the strapping material and welds the strapping material to itself in an end-to-end weld. The modular strapping machine includes a frame, a feed head removably mounted to the frame, a tension head removably mounted to the frame, a sealing head removably mounted to the frame and a strap chute. A strap straightener is mounted between the tension head and the sealing head. A leading end of the steel strapping material is conveyed from the feed head, through the tension head and the sealing head, through the strap chute and back to the sealing head. The sealing head is configured to grip the leading end, grip and sever a trailing end of the strapping material to form a loop end and weld the leading end to the loop end in an end-to-end weld.

Binding machine for gardening
A binding machine for gardening includes a main handle, a clincher arm, a tape guide, a tape gripping device and a cutting blade. The clincher arm is rotatably attached to the main handle. The tape guide is configured to draw out and guide a tape at a front end portion of the main handle. The tape gripping device is configured to grip an end portion of the tape drawn out from the tape guide, at a front end portion of the clincher arm. The cutting blade is configured to cut the tape. The tape guide is movably provided such that a position of the tape guide when the tape gripping device operates to grip the end portion of the tape and a position of the tape guide when the cutting blade operates to cut the tape are different from each other.
