PRECLINICAL EVALUATION OF SKIN CONDITION AND RISK EVALUATION

A system for quantifying risk associated with preclinical indicators of one or more clinical skin conditions, the system is formed of a plurality of measurement tools in connection with a processor, the measurement tools configured to various pre-clinical indicators of the skin health of a subject' hand, where the processor is configured to calculate a score based on the combined data from the plurality of measurement tools, this score being representative of the subject's risk of future development of one or more clinical skin conditions.

Sensor systems and methods for activity evaluation

Systems and methods are discussed for providing sensor enhanced safety, recovery, and activity evaluation systems. Sensors that monitor user activity and behavior are worn by a user and/or placed in the user environment. Data from the sensors are processed to obtain a safety, recovery, and/or activity evaluation. Based on the evaluation, recommendations or adjustments to the terms of an insurance policy covering the user, the user's employer, or a facility providing health care to the user, aer generated, to accurately reflect the risks associated with the user, employer, and/or facility. In embodiments, an alert may be generated when a failure to conform with activity guidelines is detected.

Wearable computing device for monitoring hazards

Embodiments of the present invention relate to wearable computing devices. In some embodiments, a wearable computing devices (WCD) for monitoring occupational hazards are disclosed. The WCD may include an apparel item having one or more control circuits affixed thereto. One or more sensors may be communicatively coupled to the computing device and configured to detect or monitor at least one of an aspect of a user of the WCD and an ambient environment of the user. The control circuits can be configured to generate one or more notifications when sensor data comprises a value above a threshold amount.

Embodiments herein include testing articles to assess hydration of a test subject. The testing articles can include a carrier portion having a porous medium through which a fluid of the test subject moves. The carrier portion can include a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The testing articles can include a first chemical composition disposed in the porous medium that reacts with chloride ions to produce a first color change. The testing articles can include a wick that is in direct contact with the first end of the carrier portion to allow the transfer of the fluid from the wick to the carrier portion. The testing articles can include a fill indicator element in direct contact with the second end of the carrier portion to allow the transfer of the fluid from the carrier portion to the fill indicator element. Other embodiments are also included herein.

System and method for monitoring safety and productivity of physical tasks

Methods and systems for monitoring workplace safety and evaluating risks is provided, the method comprising receiving signals from at least one wearable device, identifying portions of the signals corresponding to physical activities, excerpting the portions of the signals corresponding to the physical activities, and calculating risk metrics based on measurements extracted from the excerpted portions of the signals, the risk metric indicative of high risk lifting activities.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSESSING AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF PROFESSIONALS IN THE WORKPLACE
20200160248 · 2020-05-21 ·

The present invention provides for a system and method for assessing and improving the quality of professionalism in the workplace. A database is instantiated with user information from a plurality of users. A rating scheme is then created from the database, comprising a plurality of ratees and raters and validated by a validator. Surveys are automatically transmitted to the raters and received upon completion for the generation of a report for each ratee, subject to further approval. The ratees are then afforded evaluations, training and feedback on the extent to which the ratee has improved. The software modules are determined by the system based on the behaviorally anchored feedback received for each ratee. A personal biometric monitoring device may further be disposed in connection with the system for performing real-time data tracking, delivery of prevention messages, and transmittal of pertinent data for further evaluations, training, and feedback.
