METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING AN EDGE

The present invention relates to a method and a device for folding a foil material half-shell edge which protrudes from a surface of the packaging of a packaged food product, said half-shells receiving the food product. The half-shells have flanges, at least some regions of which lie one on top of the other and which form the protruding edge. The aim of the invention is to improve a quick and reliable method which can be carried out with little effort for improving the appearance of food products packaged in foil half-shells. This is achieved in that during a relative movement between a packaged food product and a die, an edge region of the die presses against the protruding edge of the foils, whereby the edge of the foils is at least partly folded to lie substantially flush on one of the half-shells. The invention further relates to a device which corresponds to the method.

Packages having separable sealing features and methods of manufacturing

A package includes a first pouch and either a second pouch or a cover, where the pouches are configured to contain a product, such as a food product, and attached relative to each other about a hinge. The package includes at least one closure flap. The first and second pouches or first pouch and cover are movable about the hinge from a closed position where access is at least partially blocked by the closure flap toward an open position where the closure flap is separated to allow greater access. Methods of manufacturing such packages are also provided.

The package is characterized in that it envisages a sealing portion (4), which is folded adherent to the portion of the sheet that defines the inner cavity (C) and which is provided with a point (6) of facilitated opening.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISTRIBUTING AND DISPENSING PERSONAL SERVINGS OF CHOCOLATE
20240294318 · 2024-09-05 ·

A multilayered, flexible, and generally flat pouch for transporting and dispensing chocolate, including first and second elongated generally rectangular multilayered portions sealed together to yield a deformable generally rectangular fluid-tight sachet defining an internal volume and separating the internal volume from an external environment. The sachet further defines a top end, an oppositely disposed bottom end, and first and second sides extending therebetween. An untempered chocolate portion is contained within the internal volume. A tear notch is formed through at least one side and disposed adjacent the top end and a weakened tear strip extends between the second side and the bottom end. The sachet is substantially fluid-tight, and first and second elongated generally rectangular multilayered portions each further comprise an outer layer, an inner high-slip layer, a printable binding layer disposed between the inner and outer layers, and a metal vapor barrier layer disposed between the inner and outer layers. When actuated, the first weakened tear strip produces a corner pour spout through which molten chocolate may be extracted from the sachet. When actuated, the second weakened tear strip produces a central aperture through which molten chocolate may be extracted from the sachet.

Pi?ata Structure and Method for Assembling Same

Systems and methods are disclosed that include providing a pi?ata with an improved pi?ata structure. The pi?ata structure includes a top, a bottom, and a center piece, each having a plurality of slots extending radially inward from a perimeter. A plurality of vertical column components engage the top, bottom, and centerpiece via complementary aligned upper, lower, and middle slots to form compartments in the pi?ata structure that can be filled with candy or confetti. A tube extending through the center of the pi?ata structure includes a string passing therethrough and coupled to an anchoring object at the bottom of the pi?ata structure. The string serves as an axis of rotation for the pi?ata structure. Tape, streamer, ribbon, or a combination thereof is wrapped around the pi?ata structure in consecutive layers and when peeled, the pi?ata rotates and expels the contents of the pi?ata structure.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PACKAGING

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing packaging for a food product, in particular a hollow shaped chocolate article. In the disclosed method, two half-shells are provided, each of which includes a pre-shaped, curved thin foil having an edge that projects peripherally, a food product is introduced between the half-shells, the edges of the half-shells are coupled to one another such that the two half-shells accommodate the product in a cavity, a sealing layer being provided in at least some sections between the edges, and the edges are joined to one another using a sealing and folding process. In order to be able to carry out said method as easily and conveniently as possible, effectively seal the half-shells at the edges and obtain packaging that is esthetically appealing from the outside, the sealing process is performed at the same time as the edges are folded or after the edges have been folded. The disclosed manufacturing method results in packaging in which the sealed portion extends transversely across the fold line.

Device and method for portioning a flow of individual products

A device and a method for portioning a flow of individual products having an input-side conveying device continuously supplying individual products and at least two output-side conveying devices for continuously discharging the products. The output-side conveying devices are arranged vertically above one another. The input-side conveying device continuously transfers the products to a first output-side conveying device. The input-side and/or the output-side conveying devices are able to be pivoted in their position to transfer the products to one of the at least two output-side conveying devices, continuously or in batches. The input and output-side conveying devices may be circulating conveyor belts, in the form of front and/or rear ends, which are movable in the direction of conveyance and cooperate so that during the phase of adjusting the position of the input and/or the output-side conveying devices, the products on the input-side may be supplied continuously at uniform spacings from one another.
