Wrapping machine printer arrangement and wrapping machine film cutter arrangement

A wrapping machine for wrapping trayed food products includes a wrap station at which trayed food products are wrapped and a film dispensing system for drawing out film at the wrap station. A conveying system moves trayed food products through the wrapping machine. The machine may include a printer and label apply arrangement positioned for applying labels to trayed food products after wrapping, where the printer and label apply arrangement includes a support that is pivotable between an operating position and an access position. The film dispensing system may include a knife movable for cutting the film, and opposite ends of the knife are mechanically linked via spaced apart first and second belts to maintain alignment of the opposite ends.

Gripper device

A gripper device is configured to pick up a pliable food product having a tail-like part from a pick-up area and releasing it at a releasing area, where a support is provided. A pair of jaws is mounted to the support for movement of distal ends thereof towards each other defining a closing position of the pair of jaws and away from each other defining an open position of the pair of jaws. A tail bender device is attached to the support and adjacent to one end of the pair of jaws. The tail bender device is moveable in relation to the pair of jaws and is configured to bend the tail-like part while transferring the food product from the pick-up area until releasing it at the releasing area.

SLICING AND PACKAGING ASSEMBLY WITH MODIFIED ATMOSPHERE

An assembly is provided for turning a food product into slices of food product. The assembly includes a microbial treatment assembly configured to move the food product along a path, and a microbial intervention apparatus configured to substantially reduce an amount of microbes on an exterior surface of the food product while the food product is traveling along the path, a slicing machine downstream of the microbial treatment assembly, the slicing machine being configured to slice the food product into slices, an enclosure in which the slicing machine is positioned, the enclosure being sealed from outside atmosphere, and a microbial treatment apparatus in communication with the enclosure and configured to deter the growth of microbes on the food product.

Shrink films comprising PA 6/6,6

The present invention relates to a process for producing a polymer film (P) comprising a polyamide composition (PC) by extruding the polyamide composition (PC) through an annular die and then stretching the tube thus obtained by blowing in air. The present invention further relates to the polymer film (P) obtainable by the process of the invention and to a process for packaging foodstuffs with the polymer film (P).

HANDLING OF FOOD PRODUCTS

The invention relates to a method of handling food products, in which at least one respective product is placed onto a carrier that has a base and a tab pivotable relative to the base about a kink line, the carrier together with the product disposed thereon is fed to a pick-up region that is disposed in a working region of a transfer device, and the carrier together with the product disposed thereon is picked up by the transfer device, is then fed by means of the transfer device to an insertion region of a packaging machine, and is inserted there with a downward movement of the transfer device into a package component, wherein the carrier is moved past a folding contour, which is arranged in the insertion region, during the downward movement and in so doing, on the one hand, the tab is pivoted relative to the base by cooperation with the folding contour and, on the other hand, the carrier is secured against lifting by a holding device of the transfer device that is effective at or in the region of the kink line.

Method for inducing artificial hibernation of fish, live fish packaging method, and live fish packaging container
11330805 · 2022-05-17 · ·

The present invention relates to a method for inducing artificial hibernation of fish that is capable of transporting the fish in a state of being alive for long hours. According to the present invention, a water temperature is gradually decreased from an initial water temperature to the lowest water temperature, the fish are induced to the artificial hibernation, and they are packed in a waterless state. The packing is carried out in an environment where the lowest water temperature is constantly maintained, and a refrigerant is also packed to constantly maintain a temperature in a packing container, while oxygen is continuously supplied to the live fish induced to the artificial hibernation. The fish are individually packed in the Styrofoam box, and even if an atmospheric pressure in the airport is lowered during transport of the fish, there is no danger of causing respiration of the fish to be hard due to a plastic bag damaged. Through the hibernation inducing method and packing capable of reducing stress of the fish, in addition, the fish can be alive in a waterless environment for 36 hours or more, thereby making possible to globally distribute the live fish.
