WRAPPING MODULE AND A METHOD FOR PROVIDING A SLEEVE AROUND A MAIL ITEM
A wrapping module and a method for providing a sleeve around a mail item are disclosed. A sheet is folded over a leading edge of each mail item so that a first part of the sheet is folded against an upper side of the mail item and the second part of the sheet is folded against a lower side of the mail item and a third part of the sheet extends in the upstream direction beyond the trailing edge of the mail item. Glue is dispensed on the third part. The mail item is turned around with a turning station having a pendulum so that the third part of the sheet is folded around the mail item so that the third part is connected to the first part by the glue to form the sleeve.
Method of manufacturing package structure
A method of producing a packaging structure, including the steps: coating at least one surface of a first sheet base material and/or a second sheet base material with a synthetic polyisoprene latex having a weight average molecular weight of 500,000 -5,000,000 and/or a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000-300,000, sandwiching an article to be packaged in a state wherein the first and second sheet base material are in contact with each other via a latex coated surface formed on the first and/or second sheet base material to thereby obtain a laminated body, pressing a portion where at least the first and second sheet base material of the laminated body are in contact with each other via the latex coated surface at a temperature of 100° C. or less to thereby obtain a pressed laminated body, and performing a sterilization treatment on the pressed laminated body.
Film for masking aircraft components and method of positioning same
The invention solves the problem of protecting aircraft components during finishing. Such components are large and require masking films of vast dimensions which are difficult to handle and position rapidly. The invention relates to films packaged to facilitate transport, and to a method of positioning the packaged films on the corresponding components. The longitudinal and/or transverse portions of the films are packaged by means of at least one opération chosen from among: accordion folding, telescopic folding, gâte folding, roll folding, winding around a mandrel, and winding on itself. The packaged films can have positioning markers on at least one surface and/or tear lines suitable for detaching the portions of film to be separated. The invention also concerns a kit comprising a film and a guide element for guiding the positioning of the film on the component.

Product Packaging System With Tipping System
A product packaging system includes a tipping system that tips a product stack after the product stack is formed. The tipping system may have a turn plate that is selectively pivotable about a horizontal axis to tip a product stack onto a discharge platform located upstream from the product stack.
Adjustable packaging machine
An unwind station for a packaging machine may be configured to form wrappers having different sizes from a web of packaging material and supply the wrapper to a wrapping station. The unwind station may include a base configured to support the web of packaging material and a carriage configured to selectively slide in a longitudinal direction on the base. A rotating blade can be configured to periodically score the web to form a break line extending between lateral sides of the web. A first conveyor arm and a second conveyor arm may project longitudinally outward from the carriage. The first conveyor arm and the second conveyor arm can each include a low-speed conveyor configured to transport the web to a high-speed conveyor. The high-speed conveyor is configured to separate the wrapper from the web as the break line passes a shear point between the low-speed conveyors and the high-speed conveyors.
GRASPING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSERTING SEPARATION SHEETS IN A RECEPTACLE
The invention relates to grasping system comprising a grasping head (15) for a sheet transporting device, in particular for transporting an insert sheet to be inserted between rows of folding boxes in a receptacle, the grasping head (15) having at least one support frame (80) and a plurality of aspiration elements (17, 18). The aspiration elements (17, 18) are mounted on holding elements (50) which are received on the support frame (80) so as to be displaceable with respect to the support frame (80).
ROBOT TOOL AND METHOD FOR COIL PACKAGING
A robot tool, a robot system and a method for packaging coils of sheet metal. A robot tool for coil packaging, having two ends, each end being provided with a coupling tool piece configured to interface with a robot arm; a roll holder shaft configured to hold a roll of wrapping material, the holder shaft at one end being rotatably mounted substantially midway between said ends and projecting substantially perpendicular to an axis extending between said ends. A robot system for coil packaging, having two industrial robots, each robot being provided with a robot arm having a coupling robot piece configured to interface with a robot tool; and a robot tool, the robot tool having two ends, each end being provided with a coupling tool piece configured to interface with a said robot arm.
PACKAGING BOX, BLANK, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING THE SAME
A packaging box including a base portion defining a first plane is disclosed. The packaging box includes at least one first side wall portion. The at least one first side wall portion is arranged at an angle to the base portion. The first side wall portion is joined to the base portion via a fold line at a first edge of the base portion. The first side wall portion has an extension portion extending from one side of the side wall portion so as to provide at least part of a second side wall portion arranged at an angle to the base portion and at an angle to the first side wall portion. The second side wall portion includes at least part of the extension portion. A connecting portion of the extension portion connecting the first side wall portion to the second side wall portion is smoothly curved.
Adjustable tables for use in package forming systems and related methods
Adjustable tables for use in packaging forming systems and related methods are provided. An adjustable table for use in a packaging forming system can include outer side panels and moveable inner side panels moveably connected to the outer side panels with the outer side panels held stationary relative to the moveable inner side panels. The adjustable table can also include a table top secured to the moveable inner side panels. The table top and the inner side panels are configured to move upwardly or downwardly relative to the outer side panels.
