A transport bag for the hanging transportation of goods by a transport device extending in a transport direction, the transport bag having a rear wall oriented in a transverse direction to the transport direction and a front wall oriented in a transverse direction to the transport direction, which are moveably connected to one another at an upper bag end and a lower bag end in such a way that the front wall can move relative to the rear wall between a filling position in which same is at a first distance to the rear wall, and an empty position in which same is at a second distance to the rear wall, which second distance is smaller than the first distance, and which transport bag can be connected in a hanging manner to the transport device by a connection means attached at the top on the rear wall.

Method and System for Automated Stacking and Loading Wrapped Facemasks into a Carton in a Manufacturing Line

An automated method and system for stacking and loading wrapped facemasks into a carton in a facemask production line include conveying individual wrapped facemasks to a delivery location adjacent to a rotary wheel, the rotary wheel conveyor having individual pick-up devices spaced around a circumference thereof. Each wrapped facemask is picked-up with a respective pick-up device on the rotary wheel conveyor and transported to a first carton staging area at a first location on the circumference of the rotary wheel. At the first staging area, the facemasks are released from the rotary wheel conveyor and deposited into a carton.

Autonomous devices, systems, and methods for packing unfolded laundry articles

Devices, systems, and methods for autonomously packing unfolded laundry articles into a box are described. The system includes a box configured to receive the laundry articles, a movable surface for receiving the box, and at least one actuator for imparting at least one of a shaking, twisting, vibrating, oscillating, shushling, and tilting motion to the box. A plunger is configured to compress the articles within the box and at least one sensor is configured to detect that the mass of articles is flattened and substantially level across a top surface. A controller in communication with drive motors, actuators, and at least one sensor is configured to determine whether the articles are flattened sufficiently for delivery to a packing station for receipt of folded laundry articles placed atop the plurality of unfolded laundry articles.

Method and System for Wrapping and Preparing Facemasks for Packaging in a Manufacturing Line

An automated method and system for preparing facemask for subsequent stacking and packaging in a facemask production line include conveying individual facemasks in an alternating and offset nesting pattern on a first conveyor at a first conveying speed. The facemasks are transferred to a second conveyor having a second conveying speed that is greater than the first conveying speed so that an increased gap is generated between adjacent facemasks. The aligned facemasks are wrapped at an automated in-line wrapping station wherein a continuous wrapping material is bonded around each individual facemask. At an in-line cutting station, the bonded wrapping material is cut between each adjacent facemask.
