COTTON BALE STRAPPING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE
The present invention provides improved throughput in cotton baling machines by utilizing an electronically actuated apparatus for reliably, efficiently and precisely moving a chute frame into and out of position adjacent to a compressed cotton bale. Embodiments of the invention may include an electronic actuator that may be operated using a programmable logic control (PLC), and a control shaft having at least three distinct stops corresponding to raised, lowered and intermediate positions of the chute frame. Embodiments of the invention may be used to replace existing pneumatic apparatus, and may include an adapter for installing an electronic actuator to the mounts of the replaced pneumatic piston.
Composition of Livestock Feed and Method of Manufacturing the Same
A feed product for livestock is made up of alfalfa and corn silage, each having a specified moisture content. The alfalfa and corn silage are blended and baled to achieve a moisture content of approximately 30 percent and a dry matter intake of approximately 70 percent without requiring any rehydration.

The first drive system further includes one or more of a rear lower gate roller, friction wheel, wrap box roller, electric clutch, or motor to engage and drive the main drive belt.

A method for forming paper straps is provided. The method may include providing a paper strip from a base sheet and directing the paper strip through a first die to form an intermediate string. The method may further include directing the intermediate string from the first die through a second die, the intermediate string exiting the second die in a substantially non-twisted state. Related apparatuses and devices to form paper straps are also provided.

The baler (14) includes a securing device for applying a securing device (3), in particular strapping, to the compressed bales (2). A packaging device (1) applies a bale casing (4) that is closed on all sides to the secured compressed bales (2). The packaging device (1) includes a production and application device (21) for producing a sleeve-type casing (5) and for the application thereof to the compressed bales (2), as well as a sealing device (22) for closing and sealing axial ends (6, 7) of the sleeve-type casing (5) on the uncovered sides of the bales.

A bale wrapping device for a round baler includes a wrapping material roller having a wrapping material. The wrapping material roller is able to be brought into engagement with a brake roller, and a cutting apparatus for cutting off the wrapping material from the wrapping material roller. A brake apparatus cooperates with the brake roller, and is actuatable by the cutting apparatus such that a rotational movement of the brake roller is able to be braked by the brake apparatus.

A bale wrapping device for a round baler includes a drive roller by which a wrapping material is able to be unrolled from a wrapping material roller. The drive roller is connected to a drive and brake apparatus. The drive and brake apparatus is connected to a brake belt which is able to be tensioned in a variable manner. The bale wrapping device further comprises a tensioning lever apparatus and the brake belt is connected to the tensioning lever apparatus. The pre-tensioning of the brake belt is adjustable by means of the tensioning lever apparatus between at least three different pre-tensionings.
Net wrap lifting device
A baler includes a body, and a wrap system that is attached to the body. The wrap system is operable to support a roll of wrap material in an installed position. A cover is attached to the body, and is moveable between an open position and a closed position. When in open position, the cover provides access to the wrap system from an exterior location. When in the closed position, the cover encloses the wrap system from the exterior location. The baler includes a lift system attached to the body. The lift system is concealed between the body and the cover when the cover is disposed in the closed position. The lift system is positioned below the cover when the cover is disposed in the open position. The lift system raises the roll of wrap material into the installed position.
