PACKAGE, PACKAGED PRODUCT, METHOD OF RELEASING AT LEAST ONE AGENT INTO CHAMBER PORTION OF PACKAGE, AND PROCESS OF PACKAGING
A package includes a chamber portion, a hollow frame adjacent to the chamber portion, and a frangible chamber closure zone between the chamber portion and the frame. A method of releasing at least one agent into a chamber portion of a package includes rupturing a frangible closure between the chamber portion and a hollow frame to release the at least one agent contained in the hollow frame into the chamber portion. A process of packaging includes providing a base web; placing a product on the base web; positioning over the product a lid web; fixing the lid web to the base web to form a chamber portion enclosing the product; fixing the lid web to the base web to form a hollow frame adjacent to the chamber portion; and including an agent in the frame.
Foodstuff Packaging Assembly and Related Methods
An assembly includes foodstuff packaging, a first foodstuff, and a second foodstuff. The foodstuff packaging includes a portion configured to generate heat. The first foodstuff is disposed within the foodstuff packaging and includes a first foodstuff material configured to transition from a first state to a second state upon application of the heat. The second foodstuff is disposed within the foodstuff packaging and is (i) separated from the first foodstuff when the first foodstuff is arranged in the first state and (ii) comingled with the first foodstuff when the first foodstuff is arranged in the second state to define a comingled foodstuff.

Mixing pouch with liquid and powder compartments
A mixing pouch forms a packaging product that includes a first compartment containing a supply of a liquid ingredient and a second compartment that contains a supply of a powdered ingredient with a breakable seal between the two compartments to separate the two ingredients. Rupturing the breakable seal creates a common interior cavity and allows the mixing of the two ingredients to create a mixed product. One end of the mixing pouch is formed with a dispenser through which the mixed product is dispensed for use. An apparatus, such as a positionable clamp or an adhesive strip on the exterior of the mixing pouch, can reduce the size of the common interior cavity to facilitate the dispensing of the mixed product. Preferably, the mixing pouch is a flexible plastic member having a dispensing end formed with a channel closed by a tear-away portion.

On-orbit recycling method for buffer foam of cargo spacecraft
An on-orbit recycling method for a buffer foam of a cargo spacecraft includes the following steps: mechanically cutting a shaped PU foam into foam micro-blocks, and putting the foam micro-blocks into a packaging bag for packaging, where the packaging bag is filled with a foaming adhesive; the foaming adhesive includes a component A and a component B, which are independently packaged in a two-component packaging bag; and the component A and the component B are separated by a film; and squeezing the film between the component A and the component B, such that the two components are fully mixed, foamed and expanded to finally burst the two-component packaging bag, where after the packaging bag is burst, the foaming adhesive expands into gaps of the foam micro-blocks; and in a microgravity state of space, the foaming adhesive expands and fills uniformly in all directions and fully infiltrates the foam micro-blocks.

System and method for manufacturing an E-beam sterilized flexble bag
A flexible container, system and method of manufacture can include an in-line system that allows flexible containers of varying sizes to be manufactured in a single relatively high speed and efficient production line and in a single clean room through the use of transport and exchange equipment configured to adeptly handle flexible containers throughout the process.

Method and apparatus for dispensing reactive two-part systems
A two-component reactive dispensing system that is pliable is comprised of an outer sausage tubular member having therein an inner sausage tubular member in which the inner tubular member is bonded to the inner surface of the outer sausage tubular member longitudinally along a portion of the outer surface of the inner tubular sausage member. The compartments formed by the inner and outer tubular sausage members are filled with materials that are reactive with each other and the ends are sealed by gathering the ends and sealed using, for example wire wrap around clips.
