Gas canisters and methods for making them

Canisters are provided that include a cylindrical body and a cap welded to the body to define a cavity filled with carbon dioxide or other fluid. The canisters may be loaded into a medical device, e.g., to provide an energy source for operating the device. Methods for making such canisters are also provided.

PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION

The invention relates to pharmaceutical formulations, and more particularly to formulations containing cannabinoids for administration via a pump action spray. In particular, the invention relates to pharmaceutical formulations, for use in administration of lipophilic medicaments via mucosal surfaces, comprising: at least one lipophilic medicament, a solvent and a co-solvent, wherein the total amount of solvent and co-solvent present in the formulation is greater than 55% wt/wt of the formulation and the formulation is absent of a self emulsifying agent and/or a fluorinated propellant.

Aerosol container having valve cup with integral bag

An aerosol container having an open neck at the top and a closed end bottom longitudinally spaced therefrom. The container has a valve cup and bag. The valve cup and bag are integral. The valve cup is attachable to the neck in sealing relationship. This arrangement provides for propellant to be disposed intermediate the container and bag. Product can be disposed in the bag for selective dispensing by a user actuated valve.

Method of making an aerosol dispenser having annular seals and method of making an aerosol container therefor

A method of making an aerosol container suitable for use as an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol container includes at least a valve and product delivery device joined to an outer container. The method has the steps of sealing the valve to the product delivery device and outer container at respective annular welds or other bonds joining the valve to the product delivery and to the outer container. The welds, or other bonds may be concentric, with one circumscribing the other, in the same plane or different planes. Suitable product delivery devices include bags and dip tubes. Suitable welds include spin welds.

Aerosol dispenser with integral vent outer container therefor and preform therefor

An aerosol dispenser, an outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a preform for an outer container. The aerosol dispenser, outer container and preform each have a neck, which in turn has a crimp ring, to receive a valve cup clinched thereto. The crimp ring has slots which act as vents therethrough. The vents may be exposed to pressurized propellant and product due to deformation of the neck during undue internal pressurization. The vents to relieve propellant and product therethrough in the event of overpressurization.

A two aerosol can injection system has a first aerosol can containing product and propellant; a second aerosol can containing activator or hardener; and a connector connected at a first end to the first aerosol can and at a second end to the second aerosol can. The connector has a first internal thread valve connected to the first aerosol can, and a second internal thread valve connected to the second aerosol can.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FILLING A CARTRIDGE FOR AN AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE WITH A LIQUID

Method and device for filling a cartridge for an aerosol generating device with a liquid, according to which is: supplied a cartridge comprising a container comprising a lateral wall and an absorbent element arranged in the container; arranged one dispensing end of at least one cannula between the lateral wall of the container and the absorbent element; and injected, a dosed quantity of liquid in the container through the cannula.

An aerosol dispenser, outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a preform for an outer container, each having an open neck at the top and a closed end bottom longitudinally spaced therefrom. The aerosol dispenser has, in order, from the top of the neck, a valve attachment, an annular first surface and an annular second surface, each having a respective diameter. The diameter of the valve attachment is greater than the diameter of the first surface, which, in turn, is greater than the diameter of the second surface. This geometry allows any complimentary product delivery to be disposed on the second surface. Any suitable and complimentary valve may be attached to the valve attachment and sealed to the first surface. This arrangement provides flexibility and the capability to easily mix and match any desired combination of fittingly suitable outer containers, product delivery devices and valves. Suitable product delivery devices include bags, and dip tubes.

Chassis for aerosol dispenser aerosol dispenser having a chassis and preform chassis for an aerosol dispenser

An aerosol dispenser, outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a preform for an outer container, each include an open neck at the top and a closed end bottom. The open neck may include a first surface having a first surface diameter, a second surface disposed interior to the first surface and having a second surface diameter less than the first surface diameter, and a transition distinguishing the first surface from the second surface. For a dispenser and a container, a product delivery device may be disposed on the second surface and not interfere with a valve operable by a user when the valve is attached to the open neck in engagement with the first surface. At least one of the first and the second surfaces may be a sealing surface to prevent escape of propellant from the outer container to ambient when a valve is attached.
