Device and method for degassing and gassing containers
The invention relates to a device for degassing and gassing containers (3), comprising at least one chamber in which an open container can be accommodated for a degassing and/or gassing process, wherein a cover element (26) for the accommodated open container (3) is provided in the chamber, wherein, for a degassing and/or gassing process, the cover element (26) can be sealingly placed on a container edge (31) of an accommodated open container (3) or into an interior of an accommodated open container (3) and wherein the cover element (26) has at least one opening (260) for a passage of gas. The invention also relates to a method for degassing and gassing.
Methods and apparatus for packaging products
Provided is a method and machine for packaging products, whereby a tray is generated by means of bonding a plastic film to a base film, the tray including a cavity of a given area and a rim surrounding the cavity. The cavity is generated by applying a given pressure on a forming area of the films. Before generating the tray and before pressing the base film, a support cut is generated in the forming area of the base film, such that with the subsequent pressure on the base film at least one gap is formed in the cavity of the tray as a result the support cut.
Food product packaging
Food products can be stored and sold in packaging. For example, a perishable food product can be stored in a first compartment of a packaging, and a second food product can be stored in a second compartment. The first compartment can include a modified atmosphere to increase the shelf life of the food product in the first compartment. The second compartment can be under normal atmosphere. This allows a more perishable food product to be stored in the first compartment, and a prepackaged, or otherwise less perishable food product to be separately stored in the second compartment, while extending the shelf life of the food products. The first product could be a sandwich, and the second product be one or more condiments for the sandwich.
Method for Increasing the Shelf Life of Fruit
The present invention relates a method for increasing the shelf life of fruit comprising the steps of: treating a fruit with UV light from a UV light source, packaging the fruit in packaging film that allows the fruit to be stored in a modified atmosphere within said film, and storing the packaged fruit.
FACILITATING INTER-SYSTEM DATA TRANSFER WITH SERIALIZED DATA OBJECTS
A computer server includes processor and memory hardware. The processor hardware executes instructions including parsing a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request from a first user agent to identify a first data object matching a set of characteristics and generating a new data element based on the HTTP request. The instructions include, in response to the first data object being present: extracting a first set of serialized data elements and serializing them with the new data element to generate a second data object. The instructions include, in response to the first data object being absent and a user associated with the first user agent being identifiable: determining a second set of serialized data elements based on an identity of the user, and serializing them with the new data element to generate the second data object. The instructions include transmitting an HTTP response including the second data object.
METHOD FOR PACKAGING CELLULOSIC POLYMER, METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING THE SAME, AND CELLULOSIC POLYMER PACKAGE
A problem to be solved is to provide a packaging method suitable for transporting a cellulosic polymer, and another problem to be solved is to provide a packaging method suitable for transportation while suppressing the viscosity reduction of the cellulosic polymer.
The cellulosic polymer is packaged so as to meet the following conditions (1), (2), and (3): (1) the packaging bag having a gas barrier property is filled with a cellulosic polymer; (2) an oxygen concentration in the packaging bag is adjusted to 0.8% or less and the packaging bag was sealed; and (3) when the packaging bag filled with the cellulosic polymer is placed such that the longest long side L is horizontal, the depth D of the packaging bag from the horizontal plane and the long side L satisfy the relational expression of 6.1≤L/D≤10.

Vacuum extraction and sealing of containers
A system for evacuating and sealing containers filled with product, for example, food product, includes an enclosed, sealed housing wherein the pressure level and the atmospheric content can be controlled. A vacuum shroud is positioned in registry with a container entrance opening in the housing, the shroud connectible to a vacuum source and to a source of replaceable gas to replace the ambient air to be removed from the container. The shroud is advanceable to seal the container entrance opening and is retractable from the container entrance opening. A container transport system inserts the container through the housing entrance opening and into the shroud. Thereupon, a sealing system seals the housing from the ambient after the container has been inserted into the shroud. After the air in the container has been replaced with an inert gas and then the shroud retracted, a closure subsystem applies a cover to the evacuated container. Thereafter, an out feed subsystem removes the closed container from the housing while maintaining the atmospheric content and pressure level within the housing.
