Carbon dioxide shampoo apparatus and method of use thereof
The invention comprises a shampoo apparatus and method of use thereof, comprising: putting a shampoo and carbon dioxide into a container, at least a portion of the carbon dioxide comprising at least one of a solid form and a liquid form; sealing the container; warming the carbon dioxide by at least fifty degrees Fahrenheit to form a carbon dioxide gas, the carbon dioxide gas at least partially dissolved in the shampoo, the carbon dioxide gas comprising a concentration of one-half to ten percent of the shampoo by mass; and pressurizing the container to a pressure exceeding sixty pounds per square inch, such as where a headspace forms in the container, the headspace comprising the carbon dioxide at a concentration greater than one thousand parts per million, where the pressurized carbon dioxide yields a propulsive force, a foam expansion function, and a cleaning function.
A PROPELLANT FILLING APPARATUS
A propellant filling apparatus (10) comprising a filling booth (11) for receiving within it one or more containers for filling with a propellant; a propellant inlet (12) to the filling booth (11) that is capable of supplying propellant into one or more containers within the filling booth (11) from a propellant supply; an inert gas inlet (13) supplying inert gas from an inert gas supply (14) into the filling booth (11), a discharge outlet (16) from the filling booth (11); an extraction fan (17) that is capable of adjusting its fan speed to maintain the pressure of gas in the filling booth (11) to be lower than atmospheric pressure; and an oxygen detector (27) that is capable of detecting levels of oxygen in the filling booth (11) and triggering circulation of inert gas in the filling booth (11) when the level of oxygen in the filling booth (11) falls below an oxygen threshold level.

Method and apparatus for packaging beverage under pressure
Method for manufacturing a pressurising device for a beverage container, wherein a gas container is provided having a filling opening, into which gas container an amount of dry ice is inserted through the filling opening, where after the filling opening is closed and the dry ice is allowed to sublimate.
Method and filling station for filling a container comprising a pressurized additive chamber
The invention relates to a method of filling a container (62) and to a pressurizing unit (60) comprising a first and a second pressurizing station (64,75). A transport member (61) transports the containers (62) along the pressurizing stations (64,75). An applicator (66) supplies a liquid pressurizing medium into the containers (62) at the first pressurizing station (64). A feeding unit (68) closes the containers with a cap (70). The cap has an additive chamber that is in fluid communication with the container interior via a valve. The applicator (77) at the second pressurizing station (75) supplies liquid pressuring medium to the additive chamber of the cap (70). A sealing station (80) seals the additive chamber such that the pressure 10 inside the additive chamber is lower than the pressure in the container. Upon opening of the cap by a consumer, the contents of the additive chamber are injected into the container.

Carbon dioxide shampoo apparatus and method of use thereof
The invention comprises a method of making and/or using a shampoo, comprising the steps of: placing shampoo into a container; combining a carbon dioxide precursor with the shampoo; sealing the container to yield a sealed container; and forming carbon dioxide inside the sealed container from the carbon dioxide precursor, the carbon dioxide formed in the sealed container comprising a concentration of greater than one thousand parts per million. Optionally and preferably, the sealed container includes a finger operated valve to release the shampoo from the container and at least one of a carbonic acid, a bicarbonate, and/or a carbonate as the carbon dioxide precursor, where a reaction forms at least one-half of dissolved carbon dioxide in the sealed container.
Phase change pressurizing packing apparatus and method of manufacture / use thereof
The invention comprises a method and apparatus for packaging a dispensable substance, including the steps of: placing a first product component into a container; adding a second product component into the container at an initial pressure of less than 1.31 atm, the container comprising a valve dispensing port; sealing the container; and increasing pressure in the container through a phase change of the second product component to a final pressure in the container, the final pressure at least 0.26 atm greater than the initial pressure. Optionally, the second product component warms in the container at least ten degrees Celsius and undergoes a phase change from a solid or liquid to a gas, which increases pressure in the container and functions as a propellant and/or as an expansion agent.
