Methods of dispensing small piece goods include storing one or more small piece goods in a storage container for a storage and dispensing station, engaging a positioner of a retainer with a separating device to fix the retainer above a dispensing opening, securing, by a holder, the retainer against a concurrent rotation with the separating device. Also, aligning, by the holder, the retaining section with the dispensing opening, rotating the separating device within the housing to situate a first channel above the dispensing opening, preventing, via the retaining section, additional small piece goods from entering the first channel containing a first small piece good and dispensing the first small piece good through the dispensing opening. Methods of using a system for storage and dispensing of drug portions are also provided.

Such identification can be used to program retrieval attempts by a retrieval robot and in the formulation of the retrieval pattern. Additionally, networked notification systems for dispensable units can be used for updating rules or schedules related to the dispensable units, or alerting users and remote resources of any potential misuse or hazards of the dispensable units.

A medicine dispensing apparatus gives a sense of stable operation of discharge of excessive medicines when used with general-purpose medicine feeders. A temporary reserving structure is provided at the lower end portion of a medicine guide structure configured to guide medicines discharged from a general-purpose medicine feeder of a non-cassette, fixed container portion type so as to fall down, the temporary reserving structure being operable to temporarily reserve the medicines and cause the medicines to collectively fall down. When it is detected that an excessive medicine has been discharged from the medicine feeder, packing operation is temporarily stopped and the temporary reserving structure is caused to reserve the medicines, and an operation to draw out medicine feeder mount portions is allowed, and thereafter resumption of the packing operation is allowed when it is detected that the medicine feeder mount portions are drawn out and pushed back.

A storage container for a storage and dispensing station for a blister machine for separable small piece goods, such as drug portions and food supplement portions, and a storage and dispensing station are provided. The storage container includes a housing having an inside circular-cylindrical portion, a separating device arranged in the inside circular-cylindrical portion having a surface, as well as a retaining assembly. The separating device includes an electrically dischargeable discharging device, the discharging device having at least one discharging projection extending from the surface of the separating device as well as a discharging contactor coupled in an electrically dischargeable manner to the at least one discharging projection for electrically coupling the discharging device to an electrically dischargeable component of a dispensing station coupled to the storage container, the dispensing station having a drive.

An ammunition collating and packaging apparatus can be quickly reconfigured from packaging a first caliber of ammunition to packaging a second caliber of ammunition by quickly replacing a define set of components and modifying operationally timings to correspond to the selected caliber.

The actuator moves the storage up or down to a position at which the storage communicates the supply channel, and rotates the storage to generate centrifugal force required to discharge the drug units from the storage to the supply channel. The supply channel includes: an inlet portion hingedly connected to the storage; an outlet portion which is a free end that is unfixed, and a vibrator installed at the inlet portion and vibrating the inlet portion.

Storage containers are provided that include a housing having a dispensing opening for dispensing small piece goods, a separating device disposed in the housing and comprising at least one channel configured to receive at least one small piece good, and a holder configured to secure a retainer against a concurrent rotation with the separating device and to align the retainer with the dispensing opening by the holder interacting with the housing.
