Apparatus and method for filling a product into a container
An apparatus for filling a product into a container is provided. The apparatus can include a filling unit that can deliver the product into the container, the filling unit can include a pump and a filling nozzle at its one end. The apparatus can also include a drive unit for moving the container in relation to the filling unit between a first position, in which a bottom end of the container is arranged at a maximum distance from the filling nozzle, and a second position, in which the bottom end of the container is arranged at a minimum distance from the filling nozzle. A controller can control delivery of the product through the filling nozzle and the drive unit.
CONTAINED TRANSFER OF STERILE OR ASEPTIC MATERIALS
A system for contained sterile/aseptic transfer of materials comprises a coupler assembly (6) including an active valve assembly (9) having an active valve and docking part and a passive valve assembly (7) which comprises a passive valve and a complimentary docking part, the two docking parts enabling the two valve assemblies to be secured together in a first position with a void formed between the two facing surfaces of the closed valves. A sterilisation device (20) including a UV emitter assembly is arranged to emit UV light into the void such that the exposed outer surfaces of at least the passive valve and active valve are exposed to UV light emitted by the emitter assembly after the two docking parts are secured together in the first position, and prior to moving of the passive/active valve to a second position where material may transfer through the opened valves.
Transfer station for API seed crystals
The present disclosure is directed to a big-bag transfer station for API seed crystals. The transfer station may permit the filling of smaller containers, such as bags or pouches, from a large container, such as a big bag. The transfer station may permit the transfer without contaminating the atmosphere of the room in which the station is housed. Additionally, the transfer station may limit cross-contamination between filling cycles by employing single-use liners.
Apparatuses and methods for enclosing a filling in a food product
An apparatus for making a canned food product in a can, the food product including a first composition and a second composition, and the apparatus includes a filling head including a first channel and a second channel for respectively directing the first composition and the second composition into the can. A first supply assembly includes a first supply container containing the first composition, and the first supply container is connected to the first channel; and a second supply assembly. The second supply assembly includes a second supply container containing the second composition; a dosing piston connected to the second supply container through a third channel; a hose connecting the dosing piston to the second channel; and one or more rotary valves between the dosing piston and the filling head.
SHEET FOR USE IN PILL PACKAGES, AND POUCH FORMED FROM A SHEET
The disclosure relates to a sheet, a pouch containing pills made of a sheet material and a web of multiple of said pouches. The disclosure also relates to a method for manufacturing said web which makes use of said sheet. The pouches allow for optimal visibility of information printed on the pouches as well as optimal visibility of the pills for inspection purposes.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING STERILE SOLUTION FILLED CONTAINERS
A cartridge assembly for a filling machine includes a plurality of containers. Each container includes a volume and a stem connected to the volume. A connection line grid is in fluid communication with each stem of the plurality of containers. The connection line grid includes a first row connected to one or more containers of the plurality of containers and a second row connected to one or more containers of the plurality of containers. A filter assembly is coupled to the connection line grid.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING STERILE SOLUTION FILLED CONTAINERS
A method for producing sterile solution-filled containers includes positioning a cartridge onto a filling machine. The cartridge includes a plurality of containers, a filter assembly, and a connection line in fluid communication with the filter assembly. Each of the plurality of containers includes a volume and a stem in fluid communication with the volume and in fluid communication with the connection line. The method includes coupling the cartridge to a feed line in fluid communication with a mix tank, activating a pump coupled to the feed line, and at least partially filling one or more of the volumes associated with the plurality of containers by pumping fluid through the feed line, the filter assembly, and the connection line to create one or more at least partially filled containers. Further, the method includes sealing and separating each of the filled and sealed containers from the connection line.
E-cigarette vaporizer cartridge filling method and apparatus
An e-cigarette vaporizer cartridge filling method and apparatus. The apparatus includes a liquid reservoir having an outlet end, the liquid reservoir for containing the liquid, a heater for heating the liquid in the liquid reservoir, and a liquid injection mechanism configured to draw portions of the heated liquid from an outlet end of the liquid reservoir and dispense the portions from an output end of the liquid injection mechanism. The method may allow for a human operator to control the time for filling the liquid injection mechanism with liquid based on visual observation of bubble formation and collapse therein.
Bag-filling machine
To fill bags, a hopper is used to stored fill material. Bag holders are mounted on a transport mechanism. At one or more operator stations, an operator attaches a bag to one of the bag holders. At one or more fill stations, fill material from the hopper is used to fill a bag attached to a bag holder. A conveyer mechanism conveys the bag, after it has been filled, away from the transport mechanism. The transport mechanism transports the bag holder with the attached bag from an operator station to a fill station. The transport mechanism also transports the bag holder from a fill station to an operator station.
Apparatus for producing a personal care product
An embodiment apparatus for producing a personal care product includes a cabinet, a command keyboard, a bottling dispensing station, a plurality of main containers for storing base liquids, and a plurality of secondary containers for storing additive substances. A main valve structure has a first flow mouth for connecting to the main containers by first tubing, and is connected to a first entrance of a dosing valve. A secondary valve structure has a second flow mouth for connecting to the secondary containers by second tubing, and is connected to a second entrance of the dosing valve. The dosing valve has an output for coupling to a bottle for transferring at least one base liquid and at least one additive substance to the bottle. The apparatus also includes a mixing station, a closing station and a sealing station for the bottle.
