The sensor button includes a microphone which allows detection of electrocardiography signal and phonocardiogram signal simultaneously and the detected electrocardiography signal and phonocardiogram signal are processed by a multifunction microprocessor and the processed electrocardiography signal and phonocardiogram signal data are stored in a memory or be transmitted to a work station or a personal cloud for further processing and storing where the data can be forwarded to authorized individuals via wireless connectivity for communication, interpretation, service and help.
Automated collection and analysis of body fluids
A method for collecting and analyzing urine at the time it is released uses a urine collecting tube joined with a canister. Suction is produced in the collecting tube to join the tube with a penis or to the exterior surface of a female urethra orifice. Once suction is achieved the collecting tube stays in place by suction action. When urine flows into the urine collecting tube a sensor triggers a vacuum pump to produce a higher level of suction to flush the urine into the canister where a level sensor determines the quantity of urine received. Various sensors in the canister determine levels of non-urine partials such as occult blood, drugs, salt, and other substances. When urine is no longer detected within the urine tube, the vacuum pump is turned off and a low-level vacuum remains to assure interconnection with the urine tube.
Multi-function health monitor with integrated cellular module
A system and method for a multi-function remote ambulatory cardiac monitoring system. The system includes a housing and a microprocessor disposed within the housing. The microprocessor controls the remote ambulatory cardiac monitoring system. The system also includes an electrode for sensing ECG signals and the electrode being in communication with the microprocessor. An integrated cellular module also is included in the system, and the cellular module is connected to the microprocessor and disposed within the housing. The integrated cellular module transmits ECG signals to a remote center.
Bruxism Detection System With Chin-Mounted Accelerometer Sensor
A bruxism detection system is provided that includes a chin-mounted acceleration sensor for detection of teeth grinding and teeth tapping. The system generally includes an acceleration sensor that is adapted to be removably and externally mounted with respect to an individual's chin, a bruxism recording and processing system operable on a local processor, and bruxism analysis software that is operable on the local processor or an adjoint processor (or a combination thereof). The system is designed to be used in any convenient location, including an individual's home, and is generally reusable by multiple people, thus reducing the cost of bruxism diagnosis and bringing a reliable and effective diagnosis tool to the general public.

The present invention furthermore relates to a system (110) for assessing hearing ability of a subject (20).
CHILD HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND CHILD HEALTH MANAGEMENT METHOD
Provided are a child health management system and a child health management method. A child health management system according to one embodiment of the present invention is a child health management system using a user terminal, which comprises: a storage unit for storing condition information of a child and surrounding environment information of the child, transmitted from the user terminal; a health condition analysis unit for analyzing the health condition of the child on the basis of the condition information and surrounding environment information of the child, stored in the storage unit; and a response strategy deduction unit for deducing a user's response strategy according to the analysis result from the health condition analysis unit.
Haptic feedback as accessibility mode in home automation systems
Systems and methods for providing haptic feedback in a home automation monitoring system are provided. A method for providing haptic feedback in a home automation system includes receiving an electronic command by a home automation controller, from a haptic feedback remote control device. The home automation controller determines whether the electronic command is associated with a user interface control condition stored in a haptic effects database. If so, the home automation controller accesses the haptic effects database to identify a first haptic feedback effect associated with the determined user interface control condition, and transmits a first haptic feedback command indicating the first haptic feedback effect to the haptic feedback remote control device. A haptic feedback element in the haptic feedback remote control device is then activated to provide the first haptic feedback effect to a user of the haptic feedback remote control device.
CONCENTRATION MEASURING METHOD
To provide a concentration measurement method that makes it possible to accurately, quickly, and non-destructively measure the concentration of a predetermined chemical component to a trace level of concentration by a simple means, that makes it possible to accurately and quickly measure the concentration of a chemical component within an object to be measured to a nano-order trace concentration level in real time, and that has a versatility which makes it possible to adapt said concentration measurement method to a variety of situations and embodiments. A time sharing method is used to irradiate an object to be measured with each of light of a first wavelength and light of a second wavelength having different light absorption rates with respect to the object to be measured, light of each of said wavelengths that arrives optically through the object to be measured as a result of irradiating with the light of each of said wavelengths is received by a shared light reception sensor, a signal relating to light of the first wavelength and a signal relating to light of the second wavelength are output from the light reception sensor in accordance with the received light and a differential signal of said signals is formed, and the concentration of a chemical component in the object to be measured is derived on the basis of the differential signal.
HEIGHT MEASURING DEVICE
The height measuring device is movably positioned on a scale surface, the height measuring device comprises: a bracket repeatedly attached to or detached from the scale surface; and a measuring unit assembled with the bracket, wherein the measuring unit includes a folding position and an extending position relative to the bracket, the measuring unit is close to the bracket in the folding position, and the measuring unit is perpendicular to the scale surface in the extending position.
