PACKAGING UNIT FOR PACKAGING ARTICLES IN BOXES AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING ARTICLES IN BOXES
A packaging unit for packaging articles in boxes includes a mandrel, a movement device, a feeding device, a first abutment surface, and a retaining device. The mandrel is configured to accommodate at least one of said articles inside it. The movement device is configured to move said mandrel along a movement trajectory. The feeding device is configured to feed at least one blank along a feeding trajectory which intersects said movement trajectory towards said mandrel to form one of said boxes around said mandrel. The first abutment surface is defined on said mandrel as the surface of said mandrel intended to abut said blank when positioned in said movement trajectory. The retaining device is displaceable between an operating position in which said retaining device approaches said first abutment surface to retain said blank against said first abutment surface and a non-operating position in which said retaining device is spaced apart from said first abutment surface.
PROCESS FOR MOVING PACKAGES AND MANIPULATOR FOR PACKAGES PROVIDED TO OPERATE ACCORDING TO THIS PROCESS
A process for moving packages involving a pair of gripping elements mounted on a manipulator moving from an open configuration to a gripping configuration to grasp one of said packages. Each package has a box-like body having an opening at a front end of the package and/or a rear end of the package. Furthermore, the process involves at least partially obstructing the opening with at least one obstruction element extended from one of the gripping elements, moving the package by displacing the manipulator along a predefined path and, finally, releasing the package.
PACKAGING DEVICE FOR PACKAGING ARTICLES IN BOXES AND RELATIVE PACKAGING METHOD
A device for packaging articles in boxes includes a mandrel, configured to accommodate one or more of said articles inside it and to be wound at least partially by a blank to form a partially closed box, and a closing group provided to at least partially overlap and fix an outer flap of the blank on an inner flap of the blank. The closing group includes an abutting element movable with respect to the mandrel between a rest position, at least one folding position, and a pressure position, and a displacement member configured to displace the abutting element between the rest position, the at least one folding position, and the pressure position.
PACKAGING UNIT FOR PACKAGING ARTICLES IN BOXES AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING ARTICLES IN BOXES
A packaging unit for packaging articles in boxes, including a mandrel, a movement device, a feeding device, a folding device, and an actuation device. The mandrel is configured to accommodate at least one of said articles inside it. The movement device is configured to move said mandrel along a movement trajectory at a desired movement speed. The feeding device is configured to feed at least one blank towards said mandrel along a feeding trajectory which intersects said movement trajectory. The folding device is intended to abut said blank and is configured to cooperate with said mandrel to fold said blank around said mandrel when said blank is positioned between said mandrel and said folding device to form one of said boxes. The actuation device is configured to displace said folding device along at least one folding stroke with an accompanying speed having at least one accompanying component with the same direction as the movement speed of the mandrel and modulus lower than the movement modulus in said folding stroke.

PACKAGING DEVICE FOR PACKAGING ARTICLES INTO BOXES AND RELATIVE PACKAGING METHOD
A packaging device for packaging articles in boxes includes a mandrel adapted to be wrapped at least partially by a blank to form a partially closed box, and a closing group arranged to at least partially overlap and fix an outer flap of the blank onto an inner flap of the blank. The closing group includes an abutting element and a displacement member. The abutting element is movable with respect to the mandrel between a rest position, in which the abutting element is in a remote position with respect to the mandrel, and a pressing position, in which the abutting element is in an abutting position to press the outer flap on the inner flap and against an abutment surface of said mandrel. The displacement member is configured to displace the abutting element between the rest position and the pressing position. The abutting element includes at least one contact surface intended to abut the mandrel at said abutment surface and one or more compensating elements configured to compensate for a misalignment between the abutment surface of the mandrel and the at least one contact surface of the abutting element.
