SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INCORPORATING LABELS AND THE LIKE WITH EXPANDABLE SLIT SHEET MATERIAL WRAP
According to some embodiments, systems and methods for applying labeling or indicia upon expandable slit sheet cushioning material is provided, including, in some examples, a) providing one or more unslit region within the expandable slit sheet material, b) providing one or more label or the like that is adhered or connected to a region of the expandable slit sheet material, and/or c) providing an over-layer sheet around the expandable slit sheet material.
Extensible paper and its use in the production of expanded slit packaging wrap and void fill products
An extensible slit sheet paper product is produced having an expandable slit pattern that forms open cells upon expansion of the paper product. The paper product is an extensible paper having an extensibility in the range from 1-9% in the machine direction and 1-5% in the cross direction. The expansion produces an array of hexagonal cells. The expanded extensible paper can be used to wrap an object for shipping by wrapping and cushioning the object in the expanded slit sheet material. The extensible, expandable slit sheet paper can be wrapped around itself to produce a void fill product.

Packaging method and transport packaging as well as a drone for receiving the packages
The invention relates to a packaging method, a transport package, and use of the packaging method for transporting products by means of a drone. According to the invention, a product to be packaged is placed in an open inner wrapping that is pretensioned on elastic traction cables in order to hold the product approximately centrally in an outer package. After insertion, the wrapping is closed and evacuated until it lies tightly against the product, and the traction cables are thereby further tensioned.
SHOCK-ABSORBING MATERIAL SUPPLY APPARATUS USED FOR ARTICLE PACKAGING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a shock-absorbing material supply apparatus used for a device-article packaging device for putting and packaging articles and a shock-absorbing material together in a packaging box. The present invention relates to the shock-absorbing material supply apparatus used for the article packaging device for filling the empty inner space of a packaging box B, into which articles are put, with the shock-absorbing material so as to package the articles, the apparatus comprising: a shock-absorbing material manufacturing device; a first hopper; a shock-absorbing material supply conveyor; a shock-absorbing material accommodation part; and a shock-absorbing material guide part.

PACKAGING PRODUCT AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING FOR BOX-LINING
A dunnage product has a length dimension with a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A plurality of segments are distributed along the length dimension between the first end and the second end, including an uncrumpled segment of uncrumpled sheet stock material. The uncrumpled segment is positioned between at least one randomly-crumpled segment of randomly-crumpled sheet stock material on each side of the uncrumpled segment. The uncrumpled segment facilitates easier insertion of the dunnage product into a container and allows for layering a crossing dunnage product without increasing the thickness of the products in the area of overlap.

Method for inflating airbags
Disclosed is a method for inflating packaging airbags. The method for inflating the airbags include the steps of coupling an inflation port of the airbag to a nozzle of the inflation system, wherein a collar of the airbag adjacent to the inflation port lies between the cushions of the inflation system, the cushions are a part of pair of clamps. Thereafter the inflation system can be turned on resulting in clasping of the collar by the pair of clamps. The air compressor of the system operates to supply air under pressure to the airbag through the air pressure regulator. Once the airbag is inflated, the inflation system can be turned off, resulting in releasing of the pair of clamps, thus releasing the airbag.
