SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE STERILE FILLING OF CONTAINERS
A system for the sterile filling of containers for pharmaceutical products, which includes a device for sterilizing containers and a machine for filling sterilized containers, wherein the device for sterilizing containers includes at least one autoclave, and wherein the system includes an automated container-accumulation device and means for automatically transporting the containers sterilized in the autoclave from said autoclave to the container-filling machine via said container-accumulation device.
CAN-SPREADING CONVEYOR SYSTEM AND METHODS
A conveyor system and method for spreading a mass of electrically conductive articles, such as aluminum cans, being transferred from an infeed conveyor to a wider discharge conveyor. A transfer device between the infeed and discharge conveyors uses linear induction to propel and spread electrically conductive articles across a continuous transfer surface with or without the aid of backpressure or mechanical spreading means.
DEVICE FOR FILLING LIQUID FOOD PRODUCTS
A device for filling liquid to pasty food products into prefabricated individual containers including a support rim, the device including carrier elements which are run by a drive continuously through the device, which carrier elements form receiving openings for the individual containers and include a top side that is oriented away from a direction of gravity and configured to carry the support rim of the individual containers that are inserted into the receiving openings; operating stations in whose operating range the carrier elements move during an endless cycle of the carrier elements in the device; at least one operating station that is configured as a sterilization device which de-germinates the carrier elements and the individual containers; a lifting device forming a portion of the sterilization device and configured to lift individual containers that are seated in the receiving openings and which contact a top side with the support rim.
Apparatus for separating a rigid body from its contents
A high-speed automated separation apparatus comprising a pair of flexible discs, a driver to rotate the flexible discs, a feeder to position a rigid body at a first location between the flexible discs, a spreader and a converger operable upon the flexible discs such that opposing portions of the flexible disc converge upon the positioned rigid body, whereupon the rotating flexible discs rotate the rigid body beyond the first location and content from the rigid body is expelled. The rigid body and the expelled content are then available for reuse.

Retort closure for a container
A closure includes a skirt defining an outer periphery of the closure and having an open bottom end configured to fit over the mouth of a receptacle, an end wall positioned atop the skirt to close a top end of the skirt and form a top face of the closure, one or more openings formed through the end wall, and a sealing rib formed on the top face and diametrically disposed outboard the one or more openings.
HYBRID METHOD FOR PROCESSING CONTAINERS
One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for processing plastic containers within an open aseptic converter chamber comprising a sanitized environment, a supply line, a sanitizer device, a perforator device, a sealing device, and a conveyer. During operation, the method includes: providing and filling a container with heated or heatable liquid including water; sealing the container with a seal or cap; cooling the container to create a first headspace pressure; enclosing the container within the chamber; creating an opening in the seal or cap within a sanitized environment of the perforator device; increasing the first headspace pressure to a second headspace pressure by introduction of a sanitized fluid; resealing the container within a sanitized environment of the sealing device; and, transporting or conveying the sealed container away from the chamber.
WASTE SORTING DEVICE HAVING AN IMPROVED ROTARY SCREEN
A processing equipment for collecting matter adhering to a surface of packages to be processed, the equipment including: a rotary cylindrical drum provided with orifices forming a screen for retaining the packages and for allowing the matter for collection to pass through; a brush roller mounted in the drum in order to brush the inside surface of said drum; a motor for driving the brush and the rotary drum in rotation; an outer casing for collecting the matter that has passed through the wall of the rotary drum during processing; a compression device against the inside face of the drum mounted inside the rotary drum in the immediate vicinity of the inside surface of the drum.
ARRANGEMENT FOR CLOSING A FILLING OPENING IN A BASE OF A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
An arrangement for closing a filling opening in a base of a beverage container that is open on top, the arrangement including a magazine which includes closures for the filling opening; an emptying device which unloads the closures individually from the magazine; and the beverage container, wherein the beverage container is arranged so that an upper opening of the beverage container is positioned under the emptying device so that the beverage container is in contact with the emptying device so that the emptying device is displaceable together with the beverage container so that the emptying device unloads an individual closure from the closures from the magazine and the individual closure drops into the beverage container under the emptying device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TAILING COLLECTION
A pharmaceutical order filling system receives pharmaceutical orders and uses a packing device to package pharmaceutical orders. The packing device is configured with at least one cutter that generates tailings and dust. A tailing collection device is provided that collects the tailings and dust generated by the packing device into and through an intake tube and into a collection assembly. The collection assembly includes a hood with at least one air filter, a frame, and a bin removably received within the frame. The frame supports the hood and aligns the bin to be in fluid communication with the hood. A gas motive device is positioned intermediate the ends of an intake tub before the hood and is configured to suction the tailings and/or dust.
