SEMI-AUTOMATIC CASE FORMING, HOLDING AND SEALING MACHINE
A semi-automatic case handling machine includes a case holding and forming section with laterally movable spaced apart walls, bottom major flap kickers movable with the walls, and a bottom minor flap kicker movable axially. A case sealing section of the machine includes a bottom taper for taping bottom major flaps, an upper taper for taping upper major flaps, the upper taper movable vertically, and a pair of spaced apart conveyors for moving cases past the bottom taper and the upper taper for taping, wherein the spaced apart conveyors are movable laterally. An adjustment system includes a memory storing a plurality of machine set ups, wherein each machine set up includes data corresponding to (i) lateral positions for the spaced apart walls, the spaced apart bottom major flap kickers and the spaced apart conveyors, (ii) axial position for the bottom minor flap kicker and (iii) vertical position for the upper taper.
Capsules transport system with interchangeable housings
A transport system for transporting capsules within a machine for preparing capsules for producing capsules. Housings, wherein each housing is configured to house a capsule for producing beverages, and wherein the housings comprise at least a first housing for holding a first capsule and a second housing for holding a second capsule, wherein the second capsule is different in size and/or shape from the first capsule. Seats are configured to receive one of the housings with each seat configured to receive either the first housing or the second housing. An extractor extracts the first housing from a seat in which it is received. An insertor inserts the second housing into the seat. A machine for preparing capsules for producing beverages in which such a transport system is implemented is also presented.
Automatic capping machine for containers
An automatic capping machine for containers includes a main frame body with a workbench having a bottom conveyor belt disposed thereon, and a lining plate provided below the conveying side of the bottom conveyor belt. A fixed track and a rolling mechanism are disposed on the workbench, and there is a gap between the rolling surface of the rolling mechanism and the fixed track. At least one rolling gap is relatively defined and formed by the space between the rolling surface and the fixed track. The lateral state maintaining structure of a container is disposed above the conveying side of the bottom conveyor belt, so that the convex frame edge of the box body of the container is maintained and limited above the fixed track. A through air collision avoidance section is formed in the rolling section defined on the setting path of the lining plate.
Apparatus for handling articles as well as method for exchanging at least one transport module and at least one work module of the apparatus
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) with at least two modules that are selectively transferable into a specific operating position (BL) for handling of individual articles or article sets. The apparatus (1) comprises at least one transport module (3) that moves individual articles or article sets with a first packaging type and at least one work module (5) that moves individual articles or article sets with a second, different, packaging type. The work module (5) can handle packaging material during the movement, with the packaging material being in contact with the individual articles or article sets. The apparatus (1) has an operating position (BL) and a waiting position (W1), into which operating position (BL) the transport module (3) or the work module (5) can be selectively inserted, and into which waiting position (W1) the transport module (3) is transferable by removing it from the specific operating position (BL).
Transport section of a packaging line as well as method for modifying a packaging line provided for articles or article sets
Disclosed is a system (1) for forming a transport section for a packaging line and for coordinating the transport section to individual articles or article sets with different packaging types. The system (1) comprises at least one module (3), which at least one module (3) has at least two individual module units (5, 7), which at least two individual module units (5, 7) cooperate in a first operating mode (B1) of the system (1) for the transport of individual articles or article sets provided for a first packaging type. It is furthermore provided that the at least two individual module units (5, 7) are each designed to be movable, and that the system (1) is transferable by way of a movement of the at least two individual module units (5, 7) into a second operating mode (B2), which is aligned to a transport of individual articles or article sets provided for a second packaging type that differs from the first packaging type.
Shrink wrap tunnel
A heat shrink tunnel with width adjustment includes a pair of opposing side wall assemblies, each including an outer wall and an inner perforated wall defining a plenum therebetween. The opposing side walls define a product path with the side wall assemblies being movable toward and away from each other. A heater/blower assembly disposed in each of the opposing side walls and has an outlet directed into the product path. A shroud extends over the side wall assemblies and an open top space between the side all assemblies. The side wall assemblies extend upwardly toward an inside of the shroud so as to define a small gap between tops of the side wall assemblies and the inside of the shroud. The shroud has a bottom wall. A conveyor is configured to convey items through the heat shrink tunnel. A tunnel includes a side wall assembly width adjusting assembly to move the side walls toward and away from one another by actuation of a single actuator.
CAPSULES TRANSPORT SYSTEM WITH INTERCHANGEABLE HOUSINGS
A transport system for transporting capsules within a machine for preparing capsules for producing capsules. Housings, wherein each housing is configured to house a capsule for producing beverages, and wherein the housings comprise at least a first housing for holding a first capsule and a second housing for holding a second capsule, wherein the second capsule is different in size and/or shape from the first capsule. Seats are configured to receive one of the housings with each seat configured to receive either the first housing or the second housing. An extractor extracts the first housing from a seat in which it is received. An insertor inserts the second housing into the seat. A machine for preparing capsules for producing beverages in which such a transport system is implemented is also presented.
Packing apparatus
A tilt-able flat table, mounted on cams in a frame, retrieves rows of containers from a stage and deposits them in a box. The table is mounted on a horizontal tilt axle which is borne between two parallel cams. The tilt angle determines the path of the containers into the box. The cams rotate about a cam axis which determines the position of the table relative to the frame. Container top bands engage the containers on the table and move them in the forward-rearward direction on the table. The frame is movable relative to the box.
Tube holder for a tube filling machine
A tube holder has a housing having an upwardly opening tube receptacle into which a tube can be inserted. A plurality of clamping elements arranged in the tube receptacle can be brought to abut an outer wall of the tube and a clamping force acting radially on the inserted tube cab be applied by at least one spring element. The clamping elements are pivotably mounted in a pivot bearing about a horizontal axis. Further clamping element are below the first group of pivot elements arranged over the tube receptacle and are under the action of the spring element and/or at least one further spring element. The clamping surface of at least some clamping elements and/or at least some further clamping elements at least in sections has a convex contour, curved about a horizontal axis, in the direction of a longitudinal central axis of the tube receptacle.
WRAPPING MACHINE AND METHOD
The wrapping machine includes a feed path of products to be wrapped in a wrapping sheet. An insertion station of products to be wrapped in a wrapping sheet, and folding members of the wrapping sheet are arranged along the feed path. A conveyor device receives the products in the insertion station and causes their feed through the folding members. The conveyor device includes a system of endless flexible members that define a closed trajectory along which carriages move. The machine also includes a magazine of carriages associated with the system of flexible members and manipulators adapted to pick up carriages from the magazine and attach them to the system of flexible members, and to pick up carriages from the system of flexible members and place them in the magazine.
