PACKAGING OF CULTURED TISSUE
The invention is in the field of cultured meat. In particular the invention is related to a method for aseptic packaging of cultured tissue and a system suitable for this method. The method comprises the steps of producing the cultured tissue, harvesting the cultured tissue, transferring the cultured tissue to a sterile package and sealing the sterile package, wherein all steps are executed under aseptic conditions.

A loading system (e.g., in a warehouse or other item-fulfillment environment) can include a rotary hub that supports one or more chambers. In a first orientation of the rotary hub, one of the chambers may be in a first position aligned for item receipt (e.g., through an open top of the chamber by feeding from a conveyor belt or other feeding system). The rotary hub can rotate to a second orientation in which the chamber is in a second position aligned for item discharge (e.g., through an open end of the chamber and into a receiving zone of a packaging machine or other system).

A modular production system including a plurality of production modules connected in a linear series to form a production tunnel, and collectively defining a production channel, and wherein at least one fluid inlet port defined along the production tunnel, said inlet port is in fluid communication with a pressurized fluid source, whereby influx of fluid from said fluid source through said fluid inlet port acts to maintain the fluid pressure within the production channel at a higher pressure than the atmospheric pressure outside of the production tunnel; and wherein one of said production modules positioned between said proximal-most and distal-most production modules comprises a depyrogenator and/or sterilization module, comprising a transparent tubular body, and an irradiation source positioned external to said transparent tubular body, said irradiation source capable of heating the internal environment of the depyrogenation and/or sterilization module to a temperature sufficient to depyrogenate or sterilize articles passing therethrough, and associated processes.

Disclosed herein is a packaging machine that according to one embodiment includes a rollers block with a plurality of roller assemblies distributed in series along a horizontal longitudinal axis of the machine and a transmission block with a motor and a transmission mechanism configured for transmitting the rotation of the motor to all the roller assemblies. At least one roller assembly is independent of the rest of the roller assemblies, is movable with respect to the transmission block, and is configured for cooperating with the transmission mechanism in an operative position, in which the transmission mechanism transmits the rotation of the motor of the transmission block to the roller assembly.

Disclosed is a reconfigurable device for dispensing/distributing tablets in the blister pockets of a packaging strip subjected to longitudinal movement in a substantially horizontal plane of a packaging machine having a blister-packer, the reconfigurable device having a frame designed to be mounted on the blister-packer, the frame having a front attachment wall preferably arranged vertically, at least one accessory for dispensing/distributing the tablets in the blister pockets of the strip, the accessory being designed to be mounted removably on the frame. The device includes an intermediate interface intended to be attached removably to the frame, against the front attachment wall thereof, in order to support the at least one accessory. The interface includes at least one drive member of a mobile element of the accessory/accessories supported thereby.

Packaging systems with a rotatable table top held by a rotatable column, a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart clipper assemblies held at respective clipper stations provided by the rotatable table top, plurality of spaced apart pneumatic valves under the table top in fluid communication with the clipper assemblies, and at least one of: (a) a clipper reset cam assembly held under the rotatable table top with first and second reset cams cam that selectively automatically engage the pneumatic valves as the table rotates; and (b) a clipper trigger cam assembly held under the rotatable table top circumferentially spaced apart from the clipper reset cam assembly with first and second trigger cams that selectively automatically engage the pneumatic valves as the table rotates.

The support structure comprises at least one support column at least indirectly carrying the tube forming device and extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tube forming device.
