Vertical combined shredding and mixing truck
A vertical combined shredding and mixing truck, adapted to shred fibrous products such as hay or straw and to mix them with ensiled and farinaceous products to provide the mechanized feeding of dairy cows and fattening cows, including, within an outer enclosure, at least one vertical motorized screw feeder, which is provided with applied blades and an outlet for discharging the mixed product; there is at least one device which including an idle rotor which is provided with tools adapted to come into contact with the product being processed and is integral with the at least one screw feeder, protruding from the outer edge of said screw feeder.
Bale processor
A bale processor of a type for tearing apart a bale of forage material into filamentary material includes a shredder rotor with blades that remove filamentary portions of the bale and delivers such filamentary material directly to a multiple fan blower for blowing such filamentary material directly to and out of a delivery chute. An independent dual discharge feature permits discharge out of either side and/or one or more blowers placed closer to the shredder rotor can be used independently of the dual discharge feature and the multiple fan blower feature.
ANIMAL FORAGE HANDLING ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A method of controlling an animal forage handling arrangement that includes a first forage dispensing arrangement having a first conveyor, a first separator adapted to separate and distribute forage, and a first dispensing end portion and a first loading end portion. The arrangement further includes a control unit, the control unit adapted to control a driving of the first conveyor and includes a first forage presence sensor arranged at the first loading end portion. The method includes starting the first conveyor to move an upper side of the first conveyor towards the first loading end portion, and, to prepare the first conveyor to be loaded with forage, stopping the first conveyor when a loading condition is fulfilled.
BALE AND MODULE WRAP CUTTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A bale and module wrap cutting system and method can include a bed with rollers that move a wrapped bale from an entrance, passing two cutting devices, such as circular saws, and then passing the bale over a husking devices that utilizes two or more rotating conveyors having protruding cleats that peel a cut section of the wrap enclosing the bale and discard the cut section below the bed. The bale and module wrap cutting system can be mounted on a trailer to be easily transported. The bale may contain agricultural products such as cotton, hay, or grass.
Power Transmission Couplers And Bale Processors Using Same
Disconnect systems for use in power transmission components and systems are provided. Such disconnect systems may be utilized in various applications, and bale processors using such disconnect systems are disclosed. One disconnect system is provided for selectively transmitting force between first and second shafts. The disconnect system includes a first closure configured to rotate with the first shaft, and a second closure configured to rotate with the second shaft. The second closure is movable along the second shaft to selectively engage the first closure, and the second closure has a detent respectively operable with proximal and distal depressions of the second shaft. The first and second closures are engaged with one another when the detent operates with the proximal depression, and are disengaged from one another when the detent operates with the distal depression. Respective operation of the detent with the proximal and distal depressions biases the second closure from moving along the second shaft.
Baling apparatus and method
Baling apparatus and method including a baling chamber having one or more splitting knives for dividing crop material picked up from a field to discharge divided bales simultaneously from the baling chamber to be received by an ejection chute structure which ejects the divided bales in spaced relation to each other as the baling apparatus is moved along the field. The spaced relation can be longitudinal by ejecting the divided bales at staggered time and/or can be laterally spaced by turning the bales in the ejection chute structure.
Apparatus for Splitting Bales and Retaining Wrap
An apparatus for splitting bales and retaining wrap includes a frame having an interior framework oriented at an angle relative to forwardly-projecting tines, the framework and tines together defining an upwardly-opening cradle that supports and centers a bale of forage bound with a wrap above an inverted apex of the cradle. The apparatus also includes an elongate hooking mechanism extending laterally across the underside of the wrapped bale and configured to capture the wrap together with a thin layer of forage, and an elongate blade rotatably supported on the frame and configured to rotate downward through the bale toward the inverted apex of the cradle. The apparatus further includes a first actuation device that activates the hooking mechanism to capture the wrap and layer of forage, and one or more second actuation devices that rotate the elongate blade downward through the forage to split the bale.
Distribution machine
A machine for distribution of products for animals, including a bucket with an opening toward a casing including a first wall adjacent to the opening and a second wall remote from the first wall, in which casing a turbine is mounted that can rotate around a rotation axis, the turbine including a disc with blades and knives. The turbine further includes a plate oriented toward the opening and remote from the disc, and a central part remote from the disc and at least one branch, the at least one branch extends from the central part in a substantially radial direction of the disc, the at least one branch of the plate is connected to the disc by two lateral closing sheets to form a bin, the at least one blade of the turbine is formed by the bin.
Net wrap recovery device
A net wrap recovery device that removes net wrap from large round bales of hay attached to commercial hay bale unrollers using one or more pins. The Net Wrap Removal Device mechanically automates the unwrapping of polymeric hay bale wrapping from a wrapped hay bale in one piece quickly and with a minimum of effort. The embodiments then allow the operator to simultaneously gather and store the net wrap on a disposable spool without dismounting from the tractor seat or leaving the operator station. The disposable spool can then be easily removed from the embodiments and disposed of in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. A new spool is then quickly and easily installed in its place.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING ROUGHAGES
An apparatus for roughage processing includes a first platform for placing of a first type of roughage, a first cutting mechanism for processing the first type of roughage, a first chain for cutting the first type of roughage from the first platform to the first cutting mechanism; and a second platform, a second cutting mechanism, and a second chain for performing similar tasks with a second type of roughage. The first chain and the first cutting mechanims and the second chain are driven at a different speed to provide concurrent cutting of the first and second types of roughages at different cut sizes. The apparatus further includes a conveyor an auger for concurrently collecting the first type of roughage and the second type of roughage after respective processing by the first cutting mechanism and the second cutting mechanism for effective blending of the two types of roughages, each of which has been cut differently to obtain its optimum particle size for ruminant consumption. The apparatus can be powered by a very small horse power motor. It also includes a mechanism that will stop the floor chains carrying the roughage into the knife drums when the power load force that is detected by the knife drum power load reading device reaches a predetermined amount. This predetermined amount is still within, but near the upper limits of, the available horsepower range of the small motor powering it.
