Bale splitting attachment
A bale splitter attachment for use with a bale including a frame including a frame base and a cutting arm rotatably connected to the frame base at a pivot, the rotatable cutting arm including an elongate blade, the frame base and the rotatable cutting arm together defining a bay to receive the bale; a powered actuation device including a first end connected to the frame base and a second end connected to the rotatable cutting arm at a connection point, the powered actuation device arranged to apply cutting force in a pulling arrangement; and a hook apparatus connected to the frame, the hook apparatus including a plurality of hooks.
AGRICULTURAL KNIFE WITH PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SERRATIONS
A knife with a serrated cutting edge may include a plate having a leading edge forming a plurality of teeth seats arranged in a stepped configuration, with each of the plurality of teeth seats. The knife may also include a plurality of elongate cutting elements each affixed to one of the teeth seats formed by the leading edge. The cutting elements may form a portion of the serrated cutting edge, and each may have a top surface and a bottom surface. The cutting edge may be on the top surface and the bottom surface may be affixed to one of the teeth seats. The serrated cutting edge has a plurality of primary serrations and a plurality of secondary serrations, with each of the cutting elements forming at least one of the primary serrations and at least one of the secondary serrations.
Gripper, implement and method
A gripper for an implement for handling bales includes a body having at least one support arm, at least one tine coupled to the body, and a cutting device. The at least one tine protrudes in a direction beyond the cutting device in at least one region.
HAY BALE FEEDER
A hay bale feeder is described. Embodiments of the hay bale feeder include a frame, one or more bale support members, and a pair of spaced apart drum assemblies. The hay bale feeder can be implemented to shred a square hay bale. The hay bale feeder can typically be attached to a tractor or other vehicle. The pair of spaced apart drum assemblies can include a pair of drums having protrusions that are adapted to shred a square hay bale as the square hay bale is gravity fed to the pair of drum assemblies.

Processing of blocks or bales of feed
An apparatus and method for processing blocks or bales of feed includes a movable mixing bin and a store room with a fixed floor for one or more rows of the blocks or bales of feed. A separator is configured to feed the full length of a cutting face which extends downwards from the top of the block or the bale. A conveyor is configured to move the separator in the direction of the cutting face. A discharger moves separated feed to the mixing bin.
Bale processor and binding remover
A bale processing machine that removes a binding from a bale allows for rapid bale processing. A method for removing the binding from the bale includes supporting the bale with a bale support at an elevated positon and securing the binding to a binding engagement device. The method also includes cutting the binding and removing the bale support from beneath the bale, such that at least a portion of the bale falls by gravity away from the binding secured to the binding engagement device.
BLOW-IN INSULATION MATERIAL MADE OF STRAW
Process for manufacturing a blow-in insulation material made of straw, including a processing step in which the straw is crushed between rolls in a crushing apparatus, a crushing nip in the crushing apparatus being selected in such a way that the straw nodes are crushed during the crushing operation.
Forage Harvester Comprising Blower Drum With Enhanced Axial Flow
A forage harvester configured for chopping harvested crops and producing a stream of chopped crop material. The harvester includes a rotatable blower drum mounted in a blower housing, for propelling the stream of crop material into an outlet duct of the harvester. The blower drum has an open structure which allows a flow of air in the axial direction of the drum. The blower drum is mounted between two sidewalls of the blower housing, at least one of the sidewalls comprising one or more air inlet openings. The harvester further includes at least one set of axial flow turbine blades, mounted between the blower drum and one or both of the sidewalls of the blower housing, the blades being rotatable about the blower drum's rotation axis.
BALE FEED OUT APPARATUS
A forage bale feed out apparatus is described. The apparatus comprises a chassis arranged to be operatively mounted on or in association with a vehicle in use; feed out means comprising a feed out roller having an axis of rotational symmetry about which the roller is arranged to rotate, a drive motor arranged to rotate the feed out roller, conveying means for urging a bale towards said feed out roller as the size of a bale diminishes. The feed out roller is located at a feed out region, and the conveying means is orientated such that the end of the conveying means proximate the feed out region is elevated towards the axis of rotational symmetry of the feed out roller. The apparatus further comprises a spreader tool adapted to spread and distribute the forage bale portions fed out from the feed roller at the feed out region, wherein the spreader comprises a roller having an axis of rotational symmetry about which the roller is arranged to rotate. The spreader roller has radially extending tines at intervals which tines co operate in use to spread feed from a bale, and further comprising a spreader drive motor arranged to rotate the spreader roller, wherein the feed out roller and the spreader roller are parallel and driven in opposite directions.
