Packaging material comprising magnetized portions and method for magnetizing the material
A device for magnetizing a packaging material for food-containing packages is disclosed. The device can include a feeder for feeding a packaging material through the device, the packaging material having a plurality of portions of magnetisable ink. The device can also include a static bar having at least one magnet for magnetizing the portions of ink applied to the packaging material. The device can also include a magnetizable ink applicator for applying the plurality of portions of magnetizable ink to the packaging material. The packaging material can be a non-creased packaging material. A system for producing a packaging material is also disclosed. A method of magnetizing a packaging material for a food-containing package is further disclosed.
Medicine dispensing system and medicine dispensing device
There is provided a medicine dispensing system configured such that a medicine dispensing device includes a sub unit having a function to dispense medicine that is connected to a medicine dispensing device that includes a main unit having a function of packing medicines. There is also provided a medicine dispensing device that can be appropriately integrated with such a medicine dispensing system. The medicine dispensing system includes, in some embodiments a main unit, a sub unit and a transfer device connecting the main unit and the sub unit. The medicine dispensing system transfers the medicine dispensed in the sub unit to the main unit by means of a transfer device and dispenses the medicine at a medicine packing part together with the medicine dispensed from a main storage part in the main unit.
CHEMICAL AGENT SUPPLY DEVICE AND CHEMICAL AGENT SUPPLY METHOD
A drug supply device includes: a plurality of cassettes configured to eject a drug one by one; and a control device configured to set a plurality of groups including a plurality of cassettes selected from among the plurality of cassettes. The control device selects a cassette that performs a drug ejection operation from each of the plurality of groups such that a number of tablets of a drug to be ejected from the plurality of cassettes that perform the drug ejection operation is each levelled in one of the plurality of group and among the plurality of groups.
STEAM SHRINK WRAP SLEEVE WITH PRINTED LABEL FOR CONTAINER AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A shrink wrapping apparatus, and associated process, includes a housing (turbine) having a wall forming a passage dimensioned to receive the associated container assembly and associated sleeve. The passage has an inlet and an outlet spaced therefrom. A steam/hot air path communicates with the passage to provide steam from an associated steam source to at least a portion of the passage in order to shrink wrap the associated sleeve on the associated container assembly as the container assembly and sleeve move through the passage. The apparatus also includes a stop member for engaging the associated container assembly and holding in the passage for a predetermined amount of time.
Scent permeation container seal, container including said seal and methods of making said seal and said container
A seal for containers is provided that allows the scent or aroma from the substance within the container to come through, while preventing leakage of the substance from within the container and/or physical contact of the substance by the consumer. More particularly, a seal is provided having at least one slit scoring fewer than all of the layers of the seal. The slit(s) will allow a consumer to sniff the scent or aroma released through the slit, while the seal remains secured to the container, extending shelf life of the substance, and preventing leakage, as well as, contamination, damage and/or reduced volume caused by consumers sampling the products.

Device and methods for packaging medicaments with fault detection
A method for packaging discrete medicaments in pouches in a packaging device includes transporting the elongated web along a web trajectory, printing information on the elongated web related, feeding the discrete medicaments to the elongated web, inspecting the elongated web to determine whether there is a fault related to the elongated web, and in response to a fault being detected, printing a fault indication or a fault symbol on the elongated web, and forming an empty pouch at the position of the fault indication or fault symbol.
Modified atmosphere packaging apparatus and method with automated bag production
An automatic packaging apparatus is provided, having a conveyor, a continuous longitudinally folded web, cutting and sealing mechanisms for forming flexible pouches from the web. The apparatus also includes processing stations for loading the pouches, transferring fluids (typically gases) into and out of the pouches, and sealing the pouches. Various alternative methods and devices are provided for separating each sealed pouch from the web by either making a continuous cut across a connecting strip of web material downline of the processing stations or pre-perforating the connecting strip upline of the processing stations. When the connecting strip is pre-perforated, a sealed pouch of sufficient weight may be separated from the web passively by a takeaway conveyor, and a lighter sealed pouch may be separated from the web by a tear-off mechanism that grips and pulls the web.

FLIP-TOP CONTAINER WITH TOOTH-SHAPED SIDE PERFORATIONS
The present invention relates to a container (1) comprising a bottom panel (2), a front panel (3), two side panels (4), a rear panel (5), and a top panel (6). The front panel (3) and the two side panels (4) each comprises a perforation line (7) so that a hingedly connected lid (8) is obtained when the perforation lines (7) are broken. The perforation line (7) in the front panel (3) is a row of perforations (23) arranged along a line or curve which forms an edge (24) of the lid (8) after the perforations (23) have been broken. Each of the perforation lines (7) in the side panels (4) is a row of perforations (23) each comprising two coherent first and second cuts (26,27) with a blunt angle (α) there between. These perforations (23) are arranged to provide a row of tooth-shaped regions (25), where each tooth-shaped region (25) is delimited by a first cut (26) and a second cut (27), respectively, from two mutually adjacent but non-coherent perforations (23). The first cuts (26) are arranged parallel to each other but staggered so that they are not arranged along one line.
