A hand-held handle dispenser comprising: a main frame (12) having a handle (14), an adhesive tape roll (16) provided on a rear side of the main frame for delivering an adhesive tape, an application element (18) provided on the front side of the main frame for applying the adhesive tape onto a parcel and a cutting blade (20) for cutting the adhesive tape, and further comprising an insert strip roll cartridge (26) for storing an insert strip roll (28), transport and affixing elements (26, 30) for conveying the insert strip (24) from the cartridge to the application element and affixing it against the adhesive tape to form a handle, and a holding structure (13) supporting a system (32) for cutting the insert strip.

A carton for holding a plurality of containers. The carton includes a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The carton includes a first end flap foldably connected to a first panel of the plurality of panels and a second end flap foldably connected to a second panel of the plurality of panels. The first end flap and the second end flap form a closed end of the carton. The carton further includes a handle comprising a first handle feature in the first end flap and a second handle feature in the second end flap. The first and second handle features are configured for directing stress and controlling tearing of the carton when force is applied to the handle.

A carton for holding a plurality of containers. The carton includes a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. A handle applicator includes controller that receives signals concerning marks on an endless band. The controller controls a contact body to be between a release position, in which a handle applicator is freely driven and a drawing position, in which the contact body contacts the endless band of material prior to its being cut to form the handle. The contact body moves along a continuum of positions between the release position and the drawing position based on actual position data indicative of actual positions of position markings on the handle.

A bag for enclosing a cushion is disclosed. The bag comprises a tubular sleeve having first and second end pieces coupled to first and second longitudinal ends thereof, a plurality of reinforcing straps encircling a circumference of the tubular sleeve, and at least one handle extending between the plurality of reinforcing straps. The at least one handle is configured to lay flush against the tubular sleeve during shipping. Methods for packaging and shipping a cushion in the bag include roll packing a cushion into a cylindrical shape, disposing the cushion in a compressed form into the bag, and shipping the bag to a customer without inserting the bag in any other container. Methods of unpacking the cushion from the bag includes uncoupling the first end piece from the tubular sleeve, opening the tubular sleeve along a longitudinal length thereof, and unrolling the compressed cushion to an expanded form.

A bag for enclosing a cushion is disclosed. The bag comprises a tubular sleeve having first and second end pieces coupled to first and second longitudinal ends thereof, a plurality of reinforcing straps encircling a circumference of the tubular sleeve, and at least one handle extending between the plurality of reinforcing straps. The at least one handle is configured to lay flush against the tubular sleeve during shipping. Methods for packaging and shipping a cushion in the bag include roll packing a cushion into a cylindrical shape, disposing the cushion in a compressed form into the bag, and shipping the bag to a customer without inserting the bag in any other container. In embodiments of the invention, a tamper-evident bag includes multiple side walls, a closed bottom, and an opening defined by a top edge of the multiple side walls. A handle feature is disposed on two side walls. A pressure-sensitive adhesive strip is disposed proximate to the top edge of a first side wall. A perforation line of uniform height is disposed in the multiple side walls above the handle feature and below the pressure-sensitive adhesive strip. Methods for using and manufacturing a reusable tamper-evident bag are also disclosed.

In embodiments of the invention, a tamper-evident bag includes multiple side walls, a closed bottom, and an opening defined by a top edge of the multiple side walls. A handle feature is disposed on two side walls. A pressure-sensitive adhesive strip is disposed proximate to the top edge of a first side wall. A perforation line of uniform height is disposed in the multiple side walls above the handle feature and below the pressure-sensitive adhesive strip. Methods for using and manufacturing a reusable tamper-evident bag are also disclosed.
