Method and System for Wrapping Ties in a Facemask Manufacturing Process
An automated system and method wrap the fastening ties around the body of a continuous stream of facemasks in a facemask production line. The facemasks are oriented such that each facemask has a leading pair of ties and a trailing pair of ties extending from a body in a conveying direction of the production line. The leading pair of ties is drawn below the body as the facemask continues to be conveyed in the conveying. The body is conveyed through a plurality of conveyor sections oriented at angles such that the conveying direction of the body changes at a junction from one conveyor section to an adjacent conveyor section. At the junctions between conveyor sections, an impinging force is directed against the body that causes body to flip, thereby causing the leading and trailing pairs of ties to further wrap around the body.

Machine for packaging flexible hoses
A machine for packaging flexible hoses in a plastic film has a packaging station provided with an operating device for imparting to a coil of flexible hose a rotary motion around a rotation axis, and an orienting device for imparting to the plastic film an oscillatory motion around a fulcrum axis substantially transverse to the rotation axis of the coil.
FOLDED SURGICAL GOWN AND METHOD OF FOLDING SAME
A surgical gown folded in a unique pattern that provides for a smaller sized gown that can be packaged in a smaller sized outer wrap as well as provide for an easily donnable gown that maintains its sterility. The fold pattern provides for the interior surfaces of the gown to be visible, and preferably, a portion of the interior surfaces, while maintaining sterility of the exterior surfaces by keeping them inside of the gown. A method of folding the gown in this new pattern is provided herein as well as a method of donning the folded gown.
Feed Mechanism For Pocketed Spring Strands
Feed mechanism for pocketed spring strands A feed mechanism (100) for pocketed spring strands (10), the feed mechanism is provided with at least one index wheel (111, 112) having a plurality of blades for engaging between pocketed springs of a pocketed spring strand (10). Further, the feed mechanism (100) is provided with a motor (120) for driving rotation of the at least one index wheel (110). The at least one index wheel (111, 112) includes a first support member (150) which is rotatable about a first rotation axis (Z1; Z2) and carries, for each of the plurality of blades, a first support element which supports a shaft element of the blade to be tillable about a tilt axis extending in parallel to the first rotation axis (Z1, Z2). Further, the at least one index wheel (111, 112) includes and a second support member which is rotatable about a second rotation axis (Z1, Z2) which extends in parallel to the first rotation axis (Z1, Z2) and carries, for each of the plurality of blades, a second support element which is slidable along the shaft element of the blade and supports the shaft element to be tillable about the tilt axis. The first support member and the second support member are movable relative to each other to set a parallel shift (Y1, Y2) of the first rotation axis (Z1, Z2) and the second rotation axis (Z1, Z2).

The facemasks are oriented such that each facemask has a leading pair of ties and a trailing pair of ties extending from a body in a conveying direction of the production line. At a wrapping station in the production line, the facemask body is subsequently clamped to prevent rotation of the body. The leading and trailing pairs of ties are grasped with a rotation device at each side of the conveyor that rotates around the body to wrap the leading and trailing pairs of ties to wrap around the body.

Band saw blade spooling machine and method of using it
A band spooling machine (1) including a small arbor (19) with protrusions (21) that rotate with the arbor. In an embodiment, the machine includes a table (3) having side rails (7) and a single rotating arbor (19) carrying two spaced-apart pins (21) having blocks (23) that rotate freely on the pins. The arbor is preferably mounted close to one end of the machine and substantially closer to one of the side rails than to the other. The blocks prevent the blade from kinking. The machine forms the band into a pretzel having a circle part (C) divided by a central reach (R) into two lobes, and a teardrop shaped tail (T).

AUTONOMOUS TIERED LAUNDRY FOLDING DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS OF USE
Devices, systems, and methods for autonomously shuffling a plurality of platters through a plurality of tiered folding bays are described. Each of the platters includes a platter coupling, and the plurality of tiered folding bays each include a bidirectionally driven receiving coupling, at least one of a sliding folding rod and blade, and a lifting mechanism configured to separate the platter coupling from the receiving coupling. The system includes a loading elevator for loading a platter and unfolded laundry article disposed thereon into a bay, and an unloading elevator for lowering a platter and a folded laundry article thereon to an unloading station for handing off to packing. A return conveyor returns each emptied platter to a repositioning station for receiving another spread laundry article for folding. The loading elevator, unloading elevator and each of the plurality of folding bays includes a pair of driven conveyors for transferring platters.
