System and method for reprocessing animal bedding
A method and system reprocess soiled animal bedding material commingled with animal manure. In one aspect the soiled animal bedding material is separated in a shaker to send at least a preponderance of the manure to a holding tank. In another aspect the bedding is cleaned, rinsed and color is restored. The bedding material is subsequently dried and a bedding product, fertilizer product, and/or compacted product is formed. Alternatively, said bedding material is dried (without a compacting step) to form a product. In yet another aspect, the steps of separation, cleaning, rinsing and/or color restoration may be omitted.
CARTONING MACHINE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CARTONING A PRODUCT
A cartoning machine system for cartoning medical products, comprising a product input module for introducing a product into the cartoning machine system; a product processing module, wherein the product processing module receives at least one product from the product input module and wherein the product processing module is configured to process the at least one product, a product cartoning module configured to carton the at least one processed product to obtain at least one cartoned processed product; and a product information module configured to print a code on the product and/or the at least one processed product; and wherein the cartoning machine system is without a package insert inserting module for inserting a package insert to the at least one cartoned processed product.
Automatic packaging line to pack profiles and rotor
An example packaging line to pack profiles having a U-shaped or a C-shaped cross-section includes a first conveyor and a second conveyor to transfer profiles. The first conveyor and the second conveyor are spaced from and parallel to each other. The example includes a head block to move upward and downward. The first conveyor and the second conveyor transfer profiles to an area beneath the head block. The example includes a rotor, carried by the head block, to couple to a first profile transferred by the first and second conveyors with a concave side of the first profile facing upwards. The rotor rotates the first profile such that the concave side of the first profile is facing downwards over a second profile, where a concave side of the second profile is facing upward, and the rotor releases the first profile to insert the first profile into the second profile.
MODULAR PRODUCT DISPENSING AND VERIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A modular, scalable prescription dispensing and verification system includes a four-tiered central conveyor, dispensing control system with stored patient orders for creating dispensing and routing itineraries, carriers transporting itineraries and dispensed medications, induction station, pairs of processing stations divided by the conveyor, including automated and manual dispensing, verification, cold chain, and ambient packaging. Crossover conveyors transport carriers between dispensing station pair members for dispensing multiple products per station pair. One conveyor tier returns empty carriers to induction, another transports carriers from each dispensing station to verification, then to packaging, another transports carriers from induction to dispensing, then to additional dispensing, another conveys carriers from induction to dispensing stations. Carrier stops halt carriers at stations for removal for processing, replacement, and transport to the next station, or deposit on another tier and transport to a different station. The system may include two conveyor modules, one for refrigerated or ambient unit-of-use items, another for ambient countables.
Methods for packaging orthodontic appliances
A system for packaging mass-customized items includes a computer system including a database containing item identification information unique to each item; (2) outer container identification apparatus that applies the item identification information received from the database to each outer container in a plurality of outer containers; (3) inner pack identification apparatus that applies the item identification information received from the database to each inner pack in a plurality of inner packs; and (4) inner pack filling apparatus that fills each inner pack with a specific item matched to that inner pack by the item identification information received from the database. Each item is associated with its unique item identification information and is inserted into an inner pack with matching item identification information, and each outer container is presented for loading with one or more inner packs matched to that outer container by the item identification information received from the database.
CAPSULE MAKING MACHINE
A machine for making capsules of the type including comprising a container and a dose of product inside the container, including comprises a feed system for feeding at least a first container along a feed path in a direction of feed; at least one filling station for supplying a dose of said product into said first container, at least one detecting station positioned along said feed path downstream of said filling station in the direction of feed and including comprising a detecting sensor operating at said first seat configured to detect the moisture of the product supplied into the first container.
Thermoforming packaging machine with film deflection
A thermoforming packaging machine that includes a film holder for receiving a lower film supply roll and one behind the other in a sequential arrangement along a production direction a pretreatment station for pretreating the lower film web, a forming station for forming troughs in the lower film web by thermoforming, an insertion line for filling the troughs with products and a sealing station for sealing the troughs with a top film. A transport device is configured to transport the lower film web along the production direction through the pretreatment station, further to the forming station, further to the insertion line and finally to the sealing station. A deflection unit arranged at least partially below the pretreatment station is configured to deflect the lower film web before reaching the pretreatment station. The pretreatment station may include a punching or slitting unit to punch or slit the lower film web.
WATER-SOLUBLE CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a container for washing and/or cleaning agents from a water-soluble material and to a container that is obtained in accordance with the method as contemplated herein.
BOTTLE CARRIER AND CASE PACKAGING MACHINE
A device, system, and method for loading empty and formed six-pack bottle carriers into a larger case (i.e. a multi-pack) is provided. The packaging device includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The six-pack carriers are formed by unfolding them in the upper portion. Various components are associated with the upper portion of the packaging device. The case receives a plurality of six-pack carriers therein. The larger cases is formed by unfolding them in the lower portion of the packaging device. Various components are associated with the lower portion of the packaging device. The upper portion and lower portion operate simultaneously to efficiently produce a case have empty six-pack carriers placed therein for later filling with bottles at a downstream destination. The system includes the machine, the cases, the six-pack carriers, and the bottles, operating collectively.
AUTOMATED FLOW CONTROL FOR RUBBER PRODUCT MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
