Dispensing devices and methods are provided. A dispensing device comprises an opening accessing an insertion path thereof, two opposing surfaces configured to compress a flexible package inserted into the insertion path while moving across the flexible package in two directions, and an opener configured to bend an opening region of the package out of a plane defined by the flexible package and further configured to cut a distal portion of an opening region of the flexible package. A method of dispensing product from a flexible package is also provided.

Device for emptying flexible bags containing fluids, comprising traction means and draining means, the draining means being physically connected to the traction means by means of positioning means such that they are rotatably movable around the traction means and the traction means and the draining means being arranged and mutually enabled to stretch a flexible bag from the traction means and simultaneously to pass and circulate the bag through the draining means.

A system is disclosed for controlling the disgorging of objects. The system includes a container system including a container for containing objects, rotation means for rotating the container to a disgorgement angle, and movement means for moving at least a portion of the container system in a repetitious manner with a net zero distance of travel of the at least the portion of the container system such that the objects are disgorged from the container at a controlled rate of disgorgement.

A hand-held apparatus for extracting the contents of a sachet/pouch is disclosed. The hand-held apparatus includes a roller press assembly and a roller glider cum collection bin being disposed below the roller press assembly. The roller press assembly further includes a handle, a detachable frame coupled to a handle and a clamp. The detachable frame is provided with a roller for squeezing the contents of a sachet/pouch. The clamp is provided over the detachable frame and the clamp is coupled to a cutter for cutting the sachet/pouch. The roller glider cum collection bin includes a base for receiving the roller press assembly. The base includes a plurality of holes and a guide rail for providing a channel for the cutter. A collection bin is provided at the bottom of the base for collecting the contents of the sachet/pouch through the plurality of holes.

A device for emptying a flexible bag comprising a fluid product, comprising a tray including a base having at least a top flat surface and two side members rigidly mounted on the base, perpendicularly to the base, the base being arranged substantially horizontally, namely along a front-rear direction and a left-right direction, a pressure element having at least a flat bottom face, for pressing downwards on a flexible bag under the influence of gravity. The tray includes guiding means for guiding the pressure element, as it goes downwards when the bag is emptying. The pressure element exhibits a gravity center and a geometric center, the gravity center being away from the geometric center.

A device for batch-wise processing of spray cans includes a first chamber for batch-wise separation of spray cans into solid parts, liquid and gas by separating means, feed means for feeding the spray cans into the first chamber, and first discharge means for discharging the solid parts from the first chamber. A wall of the first chamber is provided with a plurality of passages for allowing passage of the liquid and the gas but unsuitable for allowing passage of the solid parts, a second chamber surrounds the first chamber or at least the portion of the wall provided with the passages. The device further includes second discharge means for discharging the gas from the second chamber, and third discharge means for discharging the liquid from the second chamber. A method for batch-wise processing of spray cans using the aforementioned device.

An outer container forms a windowed conduit holding an inner tray aligned within the windowed conduit. A containment membrane is supported in the tray window. A pair of frangible sheathes covering each end of the windowed conduit. The containment membrane is filled with content(s) to be delivered and the membrane secured within the inner tray. The tray is held within the outer container such that the containment membrane is positioned within the container such that it may be eventually delivered through a first outer window. The first outer window is positioned on one side of the container and covered with a first frangible element. A second outer window is aligned with the first window at the opposite side of the container forming the conduit. A second frangible element covers the second window such that the containment membrane sits between the pair of aligned windows.

An apparatus for emptying a flexible line of a packaging container, having a pulling unit, which has a movable pulling element, onto which a fastening section of the liner can be fasted, wherein the fastening section of the liner can be pulled up and let down by means of the pulling element of the pulling unit, to empty the liner, a stripping device, which comprises one or more stripping bodies, which are set up for stripping a section of the liner so as to empty the liner, and a lifting device, which is set up for moving the stripping device in the vertical direction.

A device for processing spray cans includes a first space, separating means for separating spray cans in the first space, a second space, first transport means for transporting gas from the first space to the second space, and compressing means for compressing gas in the second space. The device also includes second transport means for transporting heat, released during compressing of the gas, from the second space to the first space. The second aperture is initially sealed or closed before the use of the device and configured to be opened to allow the fluid to exit or enter the storage compartment via the opened second aperture.
