The first aperture is initially sealed or closed before the use of the device and configured to be opened to receive a pneumatic pressure. The second aperture is initially sealed or closed before the use of the device and configured to be opened to allow the fluid to exit or enter the storage compartment via the opened second aperture.
Diagnostic Assay and Therapeutic Fluid Delivery Blister Actuator and Diagnostic Assay and Therapeutic Fluid Delivery Cartridge Therewith
A blister actuator assembly for actuating a blister assembly of a diagnostic cartridge assembly and dispensing fluid from the blister assembly is provided. The blister actuator assembly includes an articulated actuator having a drive body and a plurality of driven links. The drive body is configured to translate generally along a first axis from a non-deployed position to a deployed position upon being acted on by an actuation force directed generally along the first axis. The driven links extend in inclined relation from the drive body, with the driven links being configured to pivot relative to the drive body into forcible engagement with the blister assembly to dispense fluid from the blister assembly in response to the drive body translating along the first axis.
Systems and methods for controlling the disgorging of objects in containers by vibratory motion
A system is disclosed for controlling the disgorging of objects. The system includes a container system including a container for containing objects, rotation means for rotating the container to a disgorgement angle, and movement means for moving at least a portion of the container system in a repetitious manner with a net zero distance of travel of the at least the portion of the container system such that the objects are disgorged from the container at a controlled rate of disgorgement.
DEVICE FOR STORING AND DISCHARGING LIQUID
Disclosed is a content discharging device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The content discharging device includes a flexible pouch having an opening at one side thereof, a fixing ring coupled to the opening, and a discharging portion coupled to the fixing ring and capable of conveying content. The flexible pouch is inserted into a rigid container with a shape, and the discharging portion is coupled to the opening of the rigid container. The content discharging device according to the present disclosure provides the effect of allowing consumption of content completely without remainder even when the liquid with high viscosity is filled in the rigid container, and the effects, in which the pouch with the elasticity is deformed in conformity with a shape having the rigid container and the content can be contained therein when the content have been contained in the pouch in the case of providing the pouch with the elasticity capable of being inserted into the rigid container, and that can discharge the content into the outside of the container by a restoring force according to the elasticity.
EMPTYING STATION FOR A FLEXIBLE INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINER
An emptying station for a flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC) is provided. The emptying station has a body having a front wall, a rear wall defining an aperture, and left and right side walls, the walls collectively defining a hopper for receiving particulate matter contained in the FIBC, at least one power source connected to the body, a lift assembly operatively connected to the at least one power source and to the body. The lift assembly moves the FIBC between lowered and raised positions. A cutter is connected to the body and is disposed in the hopper. The cutter is positioned for cutting a bottom of the FIBC when moved from the lowered position to the raised position. At least one mixer is connected to the body for mixing the particulate matter received in the hopper. The at least one mixer also conveys the particulate matter towards the rear wall.
