A device for filling a receptacle (1) with a liquid, especially a drinking liquid, comprises a balloon-type body (4) which can be introduced into an opening (3) in the receptacle (1) and can be filled and inflated in such a way that the balloon-type body (4) rests against the inner surface of the inflated, the balloon-type body (4) is folded about the circumference in order to increase the size of the circumferential line of the balloon-type body (4) compared to a simple circle.

FLUID DISPENSER FOR THE FOODSTUFF SUPPLY SECTOR
20180134435 · 2018-05-17 ·

A fluid dispenser for the foodstuff supply sector has a dimensionally rigid housing (1) with viscous contents, wherein the fluid dispenser is designed to receive tubular bags which have a dispensing device (7) that is fitted or can be fitted on the tubular bag (2) itself and that permits metered dispensing of the contents. Moreover, the tubular bag (2) can be inserted and secured in a predetermined position in the fluid dispenser, and an auxiliary device is present with which the viscous contents located in the tubular bag can be continuously pushed in the direction of the dispensing device (7) on the tubular bag, by mechanical application of pressure to the tubular bag (2) in the position of use of the fluid dispenser. To secure the tubular bag (2) in the housing (1), a clamping device is present. The auxiliary device is a weighting roller (3) which is mounted between two lateral guides (5) in the housing (1) and which, in the position of use of the fluid dispenser, bears horizontally on the tubular bag (2) and, by means of its inherent weight, is able to push the viscous contents of the tubular bag continuously to the dispensing device (7) on the tubular bag. The auxiliary device additionally contains position-stabilizing means with which the horizontal bearing of the weighting roller on the tubular bag, in the position of use of the fluid dispenser, can be stabilized.

Food Bag Working Tool

A kitchen utensil or tool that includes a cutter, a hook, and a squeegee and that is particularly usable for interaction with bulk single use bags. The utensil is defined by a generally elongate body such that the hook and the cutter are oriented at a common end thereof. The body defines a handle that is associated with the opposite longitudinal end portion of the body. The body includes a slot that extends in the longitudinal direction such that the squeegee is defined by portions of the body adjacent the slot. An open end of the slot is disposed proximate the handle such that, during emptying of an opened bag, the hand of the user associated with the handle can support a cantilevered portion of the body that defines one of the sides of the squeegee.

FEEDING DEVICE FOR FLOWABLE MATERIAL

A feeding device for a flowable material is provided with a platen housed in a container containing the flowable material, a cylindrical ram attached to the platen, a pump that reciprocates a piston housed in the ram to suck up the flowable material in the container and a determination device configured to determine a replacement time of the container based on a change in a moving speed of the piston.

Systems and methods for controlling the disgorging of objects in containers by vibratory motion

A system is disclosed for controlling the disgorging of objects. The system includes a container system including a container for containing objects, rotation means for rotating the container to a disgorgement angle, and movement means for moving at least a portion of the container system in a repetitious manner with a net zero distance of travel of the at least the portion of the container system such that the objects are disgorged from the container at a controlled rate of disgorgement.

Container and seal bar

A container is provided that includes a container body and a lid member, the container body and the lid member being sealed by an annular seal portion. There is provided a detaching seal portion which is detached in response to increase of pressure inside the container body associated with deformation of the container body. The annular seal portion is formed by a pressing operation of pressing the lid member against the flange via a seal bar having at its leading end an annular projection having a shape corresponding to the annular seal portion, a groove-like sunk portion corresponding to the annular projection being formed in the flange by the pressing operation. At least a portion of the sunk portion formed in the detaching seal portion comprises an uneven groove having a cross sectional shape with a smaller curvature radius on its radial inner side than its radial outer side.

Seal head and container sealed with using the seal head

Provided is a portion container whose detaching seal portion can be easily detached by a stress applied from a radial inner side based on an inside pressure of a container body, but can be hardly detached by a stress applied from the outside during distribution. Provided also are a seal head for sealing such container and a container sealed with using such seal head. The seal head includes pressing end portions for pressing a lid member against a flange of an opening. At least a portion of the pressing end portions is formed as an uneven projecting portion having different curvature radii in its cross sectional contour between a radial inner portion and a radial outer portion of the opening.

Squeezable Dispensing Package and Method

A fluid dispensing container is provided. The container includes a container body formed from a first flexible material defining an interior cavity. The container includes a membrane formed from a second flexible material and a seal coupling the membrane to the inner surface of the container body. The membrane divides the interior cavity into a contents chamber and a dispensing chamber, and the membrane and the seal are configured to be fluid tight to maintain fluid within the contents chamber prior to rupture of the membrane. The rupture stress of the second flexible material is less than the rupture stress of the first flexible material such that, as fluid pressure within the contents chamber increases, the membrane is configured to rupture without the container body rupturing.

Orthopedic packaging

A package for an orthopedic device is disclosed. The package includes inner and outer packaging and preferably allows for accessibility of the orthopedic device without direct handling by hand. Methods of utilizing such packaging are also disclosed.

System for complete dispensing of flowable materials from a bulk shipping container

The present invention is directed to a system for fully dispensing liquid from a bulk shipping container. The system includes a bulk bin and a cassette disposed therein. The cassette includes a cassette board, a liquid bag having inlet and outlet ports and an air inflated bag that is attached to the liquid bag. The air bag includes an air inlet port formed at one end thereof and used for inflating the air bag from a source of pressurized air. The air bag further includes an obstruction region defined by a weld line that is formed on an opposite end from the air inlet port to redirect the pressurized air within the air bag when inflating the air bag reaches a level at which the pressurized air counteract the liquid pressure within the liquid bag so as to urge the liquid toward the outlet port of the liquid bag.
