A system for wrapping loads comprising a rotary platform rotating around a vertical axis, a wrapping head having a reel of film for covering a load, the wrapping head being configured to be selectively associated with a moving machine having a rotatable connection and a plate with removable connections, a support frame configured to support the wrapping head when not associated with the moving machine, the support frame being placed outside of the moving machine and configured on linear rails, the wrapping head including attachments for removable connection to the support frame, the removable connections of the moving machine being configured to support and connect the wrapping head when the wrapping head is associated to the moving machine, the rotatable connection of the moving machine being configured to rotate a plate having the removable connections and to move the wrapping head connected to and supported by the plate toward or away from the support frame so as to facilitate replacement of the wrapping head.

A pallet wrapping system with at least two guides sets configured to narrow the width of stretch film to form a banded edge on the stretch film. A plurality of rollers is positioned adjacent to the plurality of guides to facilitate passing the stretch film through the plurality of guides. A first roll of stretch film positioned to pass stretch film to the first set of guides, and a second roll of stretch film positioned to receive banded stretch film from the first set of guides, layer the banded stretch film onto unbanded stretch film to form an unbanded composite stretch film, and then pass the unbanded composite stretch film to the second set of guides to form a banded composite stretch film having a banded first ply with a width equal to the first width and a banded second ply with a width equal to the second width.

A self-propelled wrapping machine has a self-propelled carriage, an upright fixed to the carriage, slidably supporting a moving slide, and provided with a connection assembly, a first actuator arrangement to move the carriage around a load and the moving slide along the upright, and an unwinding unit provided with a reel of film and a roller assembly and including a quick coupling assembly selectively couplable to the connection assembly. The machine also has a main drive and control system configured to operate the first actuator arrangement and a complementary drive and control system configured to operate second and/or third actuator arrangements acting on the roller assembly and/or to receive and process signals relating to operating parameters of the unwinding unit from a sensor device thereof. The main and complementary drive and control systems are reversibly electrically connectable to each other to exchange control signals and transfer electric power supply.

HANDHELD WRAP-DISPENSING TOOL WITH CONSISTENT WRAP FORCE AND RAPID WRAP ROLL REPLACEMENT
A handheld wrap-dispensing tool for dispensing wrap material from a roll over packages to be securely shipped on a shipping pallet. The tool enables quick and easy changing of the roll, thereby greatly reducing time needed to replace rolls of wrap material. The tool includes a pole having a handle end and a locking end having a retaining pin. A compression spring is mounted along the pole and abutts a lock collar, such that the spring is compressed in accordance with the position of the lock collar along the pole. A bottom cone has a through-slot and a retention notch perpendicular to the through-slot that allows passage of the retaining pin, and then allows rotating the pole so as to seat or unseat the retaining pin in the retention notch to attach or remove the bottom cone from the locking end so as to quickly change the roll of material.

The invention relates to a wrapping device to wrap an object, such as a bale, in foil material, including at least one clamping and cutting device to clamp the foil material after wrapping of the object, and to cut the clamped foil material, wherein the clamping and cutting device includes a catch element having a curved guiding element which is guided in a bearing, wherein the catch element is translatable between a catch position to catch the foil material and a clamp position in which the foil material can be clamped in order to facilitate cutting of the foil material.
