Methods and apparatuses for securing a palletized load with stretch film
A method for securing a palletized load is provided. The method comprises dispensing a first stretch film vertically inserted over a first support member, dispensing a second stretch film having an upper lateral side edge and a lower lateral side edge and being vertically inserted over a second support member, edging at least one of the upper lateral side edge and the lower lateral side edge of the second stretch film to obtain an edged second stretch film, partially overlapping the edged second stretch film and the first stretch film, passing the combined stretch film through a pre-stretcher, and wrapping the combined stretch film around the palletized load. The height of the stretch film can be adjusted using a height adjustment device. A third stretch film can be dispensed and combined with the first and second stretch films.

METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR PORTION-PACKING OF AN ORAL POUCHED SNUFF PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a method for portion-packing of an oral pouched snuff product (1, 1). The method comprises a) supplying and advancing a tubular web (19, 19, 19) of packaging material enveloping a continuous feed (23, 23, 23a, 23b) of filling material in a direction of travel (L), b) forming transverse seals (39) in the tubular web across the continuous feed of filling material by means of ultrasonic welding, the transverse seals extending in a transverse direction (T) being perpendicular to the direction of travel. Bag forming device and packaging machine comprising the same
A bag forming device and a bag machine are provided. The bag forming device comprises at least two bag forming units, wherein each bag forming unit comprises a deflection element and a folding element, and the forming tubes of the folding elements are arranged in a first direction in sequence. The packaging film is moved in a moving route when moving through the deflection element, and film moving positions are provided in the deflection element in the moving route for passing through of the packaging film to make deflection of the packaging film. The present invention reasonably adjusts the moving direction of the packaging films, and the direction of the longitudinal openings of the packaging films after longitudinal folding. When it is used in a multirow packaging machine, simultaneous bag pulling, longitudinal sealing, transversal sealing and cutting of the respective packaging film straps can be achieved, by reasonable cooperation of the bag pulling unit, the transversal sealing unit, the longitudinally sealing unit, and the cutting unit, without providing any synchronous control device, and thus solves the problem of complicated structure and high manufacturing cost in multirow packaging machine.

A rotary knife assembly includes a rotatable core and a plurality of knife blades extending from the rotatable core. A healing element is coupled with the plurality of knife blades, and the heating element is configured to heat the knife blades. One or more package guides are interposed between each of the plurality of knife blades configured to engage along one or more deformable packages as the rotatable core is rotated. In another example, a discharge assembly includes a conveyor belt including inner and outer belt surfaces, and a plurality of belt rows extending along a belt length. A plurality of package spacing ridges each include outer engaging edges, and one package spacing ridge of the plurality is positioned between each of the plurality of belt rows. The outer belt surface is recessed from the outer engaging edges.
