SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FORMING OPENINGS IN WATER SOLUBLE PACKET
Systems and methods to form openings in water soluble packets are described. The system includes a packet forming assembly to form water soluble packets, and a laser to form one or more openings in the water soluble packets. The method includes forming openings in the water soluble packets with a laser. The openings permit air to escape from the packets. By allowing air to escape, the water soluble packets have improved packaging characteristics. The water soluble packets are packed more tightly with a product.
MULTI-COLUMN AUTOMATIC PACKAGING MACHINE
A multiple-line automatic packing machine configured to produce packed products each having three sealed sides simultaneously and continuously in multiple lines. A vertical sealing device includes a vertical sealing belt. Vertical sealing is performed by rotating the vertical sealing belt along a conveying direction of the packing film at the same speed as conveying speed of the packing film while pressing the vertical sealing belt against a former through intermediation of an overlapping portion of the packing film. Further, a lateral sealing device performs lateral sealing on a portion of the packing film corresponding to a lower portion of a packing bag, and then performs lateral sealing on a portion of the packing film corresponding to an upper portion of the packing bag while moving upward and downward in synchronization with the packing film continuously conveyed at a predetermined speed.
PHARMACY PACKAGING SYSTEM
A packaging unit for packaging pharmaceuticals into a pouch includes packaging equipment operable to form the pouch, a track configured to direct the pharmaceuticals toward the packaging equipment, and a receptacle coupled to the track upstream of the packaging equipment to receive the pharmaceuticals from the track. The receptacle includes a valve mechanism that is movable relative to the track to push the pharmaceuticals into the pouch.
Doser mechanisms
A doser mechanism includes a cylindrical shell, an auger conveyor, and a check valve. The cylindrical shell includes a hollow cylinder and an end plate. The hollow cylinder at least partially defines an internal enclosure extending between first and second ends of the hollow cylinder, a first opening at the first end, and a second opening through a thickness of the hollow cylinder. The end plate covers the second end. The auger conveyor includes an auger at least partially extending through the internal enclosure through the first end. The check valve has a valve member configured to selectively cover the second opening. The check valve may cause the valve member to move between a rest position and an open position to cover or expose the second opening in response to a magnitude of a force applied to the valve member from the internal enclosure through the second opening.
Pharmacy packaging system
A packaging unit and method for packaging pharmaceuticals into pouches. The packaging unit includes a feed stock roll to form pouches and an electronic processor electrically coupled to the packaging equipment. The electronic processor is configured to determine an amount of pharmaceuticals being loaded into the pouch, determine a length of the pouch based on the amount of pharmaceuticals, and control the packaging equipment to form the pouch having the length.
Device, system, method and product for stretch wrapping
The present application relates to apparatus for stretch wrapping goods with stretch wrap film including: a film roll carriage for dispensing at least one band of film from at least one stretch wrap film roll core, a roping mechanism for roping the at least one band of film by edging at least one lateral side edge of the film, a pre-stretcher for pre-stretching the film by passing the roped film through a pre-stretcher, a stretch wrap carousel for wrapping the roped and pre-stretched film around the goods, wherein the at least one band of film is passed through the roping mechanism prior to the pre-stretcher.
