A drug packaging device (10) includes a drug supply unit (20), a packaging unit (30), a packaging paper conveying unit (40), and a printing unit (60). The printing unit (60) includes an ink ejection unit (62) capable of ejecting ink downward. A conveyance path (T) of the packaging paper conveying unit (40) includes: an intersecting-direction conveyance section (T1) for conveying a packaging paper (S) in a direction intersecting an ejection direction of the ink; and a first conveyance direction switching section (46) and a second conveyance direction switching section (48) for changing the conveyance direction of the packaging paper (S) on upstream and downstream, respectively, of the intersecting-direction conveyance section (T1) in a conveyance direction of the packaging paper (S). The ink ejection unit (62) is arranged at a position spaced apart upward from the intersecting-direction conveyance section (T1) by a predetermined distance.
SOLID PREPARATION SUBDIVIDING DEVICE AND SOLID PREPARATION SUBDIVIDING METHOD
A solid preparation subdividing device includes: an information reading device; at least one solid preparation dispensing device; and a packaging device. The solid preparation dispensing device includes: a solid preparation accommodating portion configured to receive the solid preparations charged therein; and a solid preparation pickup unit configured to discharge a desired number of solid preparations from the solid preparation accommodating portion. The information reading device is configured to read information related to an administration method from the information recording portion of the container. The packaging device is configured to individually package one or a plurality of solid preparations. Based on information related to the administration method read by the information reading device, the solid preparations are discharged from the solid preparation dispensing device on a dose-by-dose basis and delivered to the packaging device, and the solid preparations are individually packaged by the packaging device on a dose-by-dose basis.
POUCHED UNIT AND METHOD OF USING SAID POUCHED UNIT
A pouched unit comprising a dose of a substance which is enveloped by a main part of a pouch made from a water soluble material, wherein the pouch comprises a secondary part made from the water soluble material, the secondary part is attached to the main part via a weaker area of the water soluble material, which weaker area is configured to allow manual separation of the secondary part from the main part, and a message is provided on the secondary part.
Systems and methods for collecting cutting samples during oil and gas drilling operations
A system for automated collection of cutting samples produced during the drilling of a well includes a venturi-effect extractor, which receives a flow of carrier fluid, input fluid containing cuttings in response to suction generated by the flow of the carrier fluid, and output the carrier fluid and the fluid containing the cuttings to a packaging system. The packaging system separates the cuttings from carrier fluid and the fluid containing the cuttings, deposits the cuttings at a corresponding point along a moving elongated strip of base material, covers the elongated strip of base material and the cuttings deposited on the base material with an elongated strip of cover material, and advances the covered elongated strip of base material and covered cuttings onto a reel.
Machine and method of manufacturing a two-compartment pouch
A machine and a method for forming a two-compartment pouch having a lower compartment and an upper compartment The method includes the steps of drawing a film over a pair of fill tubes; sealing side edges of the film to form a sleeve; forming a bottom seal on the sleeve; pulling the sleeve downwardly; filling a bottom portion of the pouch using one of the fill tubes; forming a second seal over the filled bottom portion; filling an upper portion of the pouch using the other fill tube; and sealing the upper portion.
POUCHED UNIT AND METHOD OF USING SAID POUCHED UNIT
A pouched unit comprising a dose of a substance which is enveloped by a main part of a pouch made from a water soluble material, wherein the pouch comprises a secondary part made from the water soluble material, the secondary part is attached to the main part via a weaker area of the water soluble material, which weaker area is configured to allow manual separation of the secondary part from the main part, and the substance comprises a food material.
Facility for Producing Containers by Means of Thermoforming
The facility comprises a plurality of processing stations (14A, 14B, 14C, 16, 18, 20, 20, 22, 24) for producing containers from a thermoplastic substrate. The facility comprises a plurality of basic conveyors (30) that cooperate with a travel track (32), for the purpose of conveying the sheets to the processing stations, the respective movements of the basic conveyors being controlled according to respective movement control commands generated by a control unit (ECU).
Dental aligner packaging
Described herein are systems and methods for packaging dental aligners. A container for dental aligners includes a top compartment, a bottom compartment, and a plurality of individually packaged dental aligners separably connected in a strip. The bottom compartment is configured to receive the plurality of individually packaged dental aligners. The bottom compartment further includes a slot through which an individually packaged dental aligner can be pulled and separated from the strip.
Modified atmosphere packaging apparatus and method with automated bag production
An automatic packaging apparatus is provided, having a conveyor, a continuous longitudinally folded web, cutting and sealing mechanisms for forming flexible pouches from the web. The apparatus also includes processing stations for loading the pouches, transferring fluids (typically gases) into and out of the pouches, and sealing the pouches. Various alternative methods and devices are provided for separating each sealed pouch from the web by either making a continuous cut across a connecting strip of web material downline of the processing stations or pre-perforating the connecting strip upline of the processing stations. When the connecting strip is pre-perforated, a sealed pouch of sufficient weight may be separated from the web passively by a takeaway conveyor, and a lighter sealed pouch may be separated from the web by a tear-off mechanism that grips and pulls the web.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURE AND FILLING WITH A STERILE LIQUID OF A TUBULAR PACKAGING
A method for manufacture and filling with a sterile liquid of a tubular packaging includes: providing a container with liquid therein, providing a tube, filling the tube with the liquid from the container, dividing the tube into tubular segments by successive welding operations, and separating the tubular segments at the welded seams. After each welding operation the tube is displaced over a distance corresponding to a desired length of the tubular segments, or multiple thereof. During each welding operation pressure can be exerted locally on and energy can be supplied to the tube. Exertion of pressure and the supply of energy can be staggered in time. During each welding operation a temperature at the welded seam can be kept constant. During each welding operation a welding parameter can be measured, and the welding operation can be controlled on the basis of the measured value of the welding parameter.
