By swinging a collating chute supplied with items, the items are held in a plurality of holding cells formed in a holding array. After all of the holding cells are filled with the items, a diving funnel array is moved downward to a position so as to contact the upper surface of a container. Then, discharge gates of the holding array are opened to discharge the items from the holding cells into a plurality of pockets formed in the container.

MULTI-COMPARTMENT BEVERAGE BOTTLE SYSTEM AND METHOD

Embodiments of a multi-compartment beverage bottle system and methods of manufacturing the system are disclosed. First and second housing elements are in mutual engagement with one another to at least partially define a fluid vessel with a fluid cavity therein. The fluid cavity includes a first fluid compartment and a second fluid compartment. The first housing element is rotatable between a storage position and a mix position with respect to the second housing element. A shuttle element is disposed within the fluid cavity and axially actuatable along the main axis into and out of a seal position. Rotation of the first housing element toward the storage position actuates the shuttle element toward the seal position. Rotation of the first housing element toward the mix position actuates the shuttle element away from the seal position, thereby placing the first and second fluid compartments into fluid communication with one another for mixing.

METHOD FOR EMPLOYING CONTAINERS WITH REMOVABLE SAMPLE COMPARTMENTS
20220009673 · 2022-01-13 ·

The present invention is a method featuring containers for consumable products which have removable sample compartments to facilitate reuse, product returns post-trial, and product resale. The sample compartments are filled with the same product as the main compartment so that consumers may sample the product without damaging a tamper-proof seal on the main compartment. The used sample container may be refilled or replaced with a new sample container. Use of these containers may reduce waste by preserving the product in the main container in a sealed condition. Use of these containers may also minimize the return expense of products sold online by giving the consumer a chance to try the product and return the main container if they are unsatisfied, ultimately reducing the overall the cost per product and reducing the waste of both product and container or container materials.

Machine for producing substantially cylindrical articles

Machine and method for producing a substantially cylindrical article, which comprises a tubular body, a container element, arranged in the area of one end of the tubular element, a heat generating element, partially housed inside the container element, and loose material for generating flavour; in use, the loose material is inserted into the container element, vertically oriented, and the heat generating element is partially inserted into the container element by being moved downwards, so as to obtain a combined element; subsequently, the combined element is at least partially inserted into the tubular body.

Multi-pack container and machine for manufacturing the same

The invention relates to a multi-pack container which defines a series of containers (11) formed in a plastic sheet (L) that comprises at least a layer of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), and in which said containers (11) are joined by bridges (12), provided with a pre-cut upper line (13) and a pre-cut lower line (14) for breaking the bridge (12). The pre-cut upper line (13) and a pre-cut lower line (14) are arranged parallel to one another, laterally separated in a horizontal direction and vertically separated to prevent heating by compression and a variation of the properties of the PET layer, allowing for clean breakage of the bridge by rotating the containers with respect to said pre-cut upper and lower lines. The invention also comprises a machine for manufacturing the multi-pack container.
