Label flagger
Systems and methods include an assembly for a label wrapper to adhere a label to an elongated object, such as a wire. The assembly includes a support structure defining a receiving space. One or more resilient members are positioned within the receiving space and define one or more channels. One or more flexible sheets are disposed over the resilient members and within the channels. The first and second flexible sheets may provide a substantially uniform pressure on the label being applied to the wire regardless of the size of the wire and the label. In some instances, the label is configured to fold around the wire and have first and second opposing end segments that couple with one another remotely from the wire thereby forming a flag label.

Robotic systems for laying out wiring harnesses and other types of line harnesses
A robotic system for laying out a specified wiring harness. A robotic arm is configured to arrange a plurality of wire segments along the harness support surface. A system controller is configured to direct the robotic arm to arrange each of the plurality of wire segments on the harness support surface along a specified wire route. A preparation device can label one or both ends of each wire segment as they are being laid out on the support surface. The labeler can automatically apply adhesive labels as flags at selected locations along the length of the wire segment. In a method of making a wiring harness, the robotic arm positions pins on a harness support surface to define wire routes and then arranges at least one wire segment on the harness support surface along each of the wire routes.

A robotic system for laying out a specified wiring harness. A robotic arm is configured to arrange a plurality of wire segments along the harness support surface. A system controller is configured to direct the robotic arm to arrange each of the plurality of wire segments on the harness support surface along a specified wire route. A preparation device can label one or both ends of each wire segment as they are being laid out on the support surface. The labeler can automatically apply adhesive labels as flags at selected locations along the length of the wire segment. In a method of making a wiring harness, the robotic arm positions pins on a harness support surface to define wire routes and then arranges at least one wire segment on the harness support surface along each of the wire routes.
Method and apparatus for applying labels to cable
An apparatus for attaching a label to a moving cable, the apparatus comprising: a roller for pressing a label against the moving cable, wherein the label has a first attaching edge and a second attaching edge and wherein the roller comprises: a first roller for pressing the label against the moving cable, wherein the label is pressed against the moving cable with the first attaching edge and the second attaching edge of the label on opposites sides of the moving cable; a first roll down roller for folding the second edge of the label against the moving cable; and a second roll down roller for folding the first edge of the label against the moving cable.
Method and apparatus for applying labels to cable
An apparatus for attaching a label to a moving cable, the apparatus comprising: a roller for pressing a label against the moving cable, wherein the label has a first attaching edge and a second attaching edge and wherein the roller comprises: a first roller for pressing the label against the moving cable, wherein the label is pressed against the moving cable with the first attaching edge and the second attaching edge of the label on opposites sides of the moving cable; a first roll down roller for folding the second edge of the label against the moving cable; and a second roll down roller for folding the first edge of the label against the moving cable.
Elongated object labeling device
An elongated object label applicator has a driver operably connected to a wrapping mechanism. The wrapping mechanism has a plurality of guide rollers spaced about a central portion. A belt is tensioned around the guide rollers and across an opening in the central portion through which an object to labeled is received. The belt is deflectable against an elastic force such that the belt can be recessed with the central portion by a force provided by the object to be labeled. The wrapping mechanism is driven by the driver to rotate the guide rollers about an axis of rotation of the wrapping mechanism passing through the central portion. The wrapping mechanism orbits the object to be labeled located within the central portion.
Elongated object labeling device
An elongated object label applicator has a driver operably connected to a wrapping mechanism. The wrapping mechanism has a plurality of guide rollers spaced about a central portion. A belt is tensioned around the guide rollers and across an opening in the central portion through which an object to labeled is received. The belt is deflectable against an elastic force such that the belt can be recessed with the central portion by a force provided by the object to be labeled. The wrapping mechanism is driven by the driver to rotate the guide rollers about an axis of rotation of the wrapping mechanism passing through the central portion. The wrapping mechanism orbits the object to be labeled located within the central portion.
Device and method of test tube preparation
A test tube preparation device uses a labeling device to include a linking module to link a positioning unit, and the positioning unit can be used to place a tube body and finely adjust a position of the tube body relative to the label generating module of the surface treating device to complete the label generation, label conveyance, tube labeling and tube delivery, and provide a preparation device for effectively integrating the label and applying to the tube body before and after the labeling of the tube body, so as to improve the quality of the generation of the tube body and the label. Further, the present invention further provides a test tube preparation method.
Device and method of test tube preparation
A test tube preparation device uses a labeling device to include a linking module to link a positioning unit, and the positioning unit can be used to place a tube body and finely adjust a position of the tube body relative to the label generating module of the surface treating device to complete the label generation, label conveyance, tube labeling and tube delivery, and provide a preparation device for effectively integrating the label and applying to the tube body before and after the labeling of the tube body, so as to improve the quality of the generation of the tube body and the label.
