METHOD, SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR BAG FORMING AND LABEL APPLICATION
A system and method for labeling empty transit bags may include applying labels on bag-forming material in a roll form and then sealing and cutting the bag forming material to form individual bags. The size of the bags can be varied to provide a better fit for goods that are subsequently inserted into the bags. Labeling may be done by pre-printed labels provided in a roll stock, or may be blank labels provided in a roll stock that are printed by a printer of the system. Labeling bags when they are initially formed eliminates the need to manually label bags when they are filled with goods.
Labelling device for syringes for pharmaceutical products
A labelling device for syringes for pharmaceutical products includes a carousel that holds and transports syringes, a syringe labelling station, a syringe handler, a camera for detecting the position of the marker scale of the syringes. The syringe labelling station includes an arm responsible for holding the label by a suction system and two articulated gates arranged such that when the syringe passes therethrough, the gates apply pressure over the body of the syringe in such a way that the label is affixed uniformly over the body.
Systems, Methods, And Devices For Commissioning Wireless Sensors
In one embodiment the present invention comprises a smartphone and encoders for commissioning RFID transponders. The present invention further includes novel systems, devices, and methods for commissioning RFID transponders with unique object class instance numbers without requiring a realtime connection to a serialization database.
PACKAGE FOR TOBACCO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING A RFID TAG
A package (24; 124; 224) for tobacco products or tobacco related commodities or smoking devices includes an RFID tag (10; 110) which comprises a sealing portion (14) and is embedded in or attached to the package. The sealing portion (14) is destroyed when the package is opened. The RFID tag is configured to transmit, on request of a reader device (34), a status information indicating whether the sealing portion (14) is intact or has been destroyed.
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for encoding a radio frequency identification (RFID) inlay
A method for encoding a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) inlay is described. The method includes causing, by a processor, a media to travel along a media path in an RFID printer. The media includes a plurality of labels. Each label of the plurality of labels comprises an RFID inlay. The method also includes determining a real-time position of a first label while the media travels along the media path based on an input signal received from a media sensor. The first label includes a first corresponding RFID inlay. Further, the method includes causing an RFID control system to initiate encoding of the first corresponding RFID inlay, and to rotate and continue encoding of the first corresponding RFID inlay until the first corresponding RFID inlay is successfully encoded. The RFID coupler is rotated based on the real-time position of the first label.
High-speed print-and-apply label applicator
A high-speed print-and-apply label applicator includes a conveyor system, a control and monitoring system, a label web feeding assembly, a label printer and encoder system, and a tamp pad assembly driven by a linear motor having a shaft that is formed at least partially by a composite material. A flexible applicator may be secured to the leading edge of the tamp pad and extends at least partially over the generally horizontal surface.
Robotic manipulation using reusable, independent tags
A system for robotic manipulation of objects having various shapes and sizes. The system includes a robot having an end effector, and an independent tag. The independent tag may have an object attachment interface to grasp an object, and an end effector attachment interface to mechanically interface with the end effector. Upon actuation of the robot, the end effector may move the object via the independent tag. A corresponding method is also disclosed and claimed herein.
High-speed print-and-apply label applicator
A high-speed print-and-apply label applicator includes a conveyor system, a control and monitoring system, a label web feeding assembly, a label printer and encoder system, a tamp pad assembly driven by a linear motor having a shaft that is formed at least partially by a composite material.

PROGRAMMABLE NETWORK NODE ROLES IN HIERARCHICAL COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
The disclosure features a method of creating a communications network. In this method, a first tape node includes a first type of wireless communication interface and a second type of wireless communication interface having a longer range than the first type of wireless communication interface. A second tape node includes the first type of wireless communication interface that is operable to communicate with the first tape node over a wireless communication connection established between the first type of wireless communication interfaces of the first and second tape nodes. Over a wireless communication connection, the first tape node sends programmatic code executable by the first tape node to function as a master tape node with respect to the second tape node.
