MANUAL LABELING DEVICE

A manual labeling device is disclosed. The manual labeling device has a platform, a plurality of positioning elements and a pivoting device. The platform has a labeling area. The positioning elements are mounted on the platform and around the labeling area. The pivoting device is pivotally mounted on one side of the platform and has a pivot shaft and a pivot arm. The operator manually places one product in the labeling area of the platform and the product is fixed in the labeling area by the positioning elements. The operator only pivots the pivot arm and the pivot arm directly aligns with the labeling area. Therefore, it does not take times to align the tool and the labeling area before attaching the label and the label attaching task is simplified to increase the productivity and quality of labeling (units per hour; UPH).

Each of the clamp members can have a retention element to retain the elongate object therebetween when in the clamping position, and the retention elements can be elastomeric.

Each of the clamp assemblies can have a set of clamp members slidably movable relative to each other between an open position and a clamping position, and the clamp members can provide a clamping force in the clamping position. Each of the clamp members can have a retention element to retain the elongate object therebetween when in the clamping position, and the retention elements can be elastomeric.

The machine may include a guide, a main carriage slidably mounted on the guide, an auxiliary carriage slidably mounted on the guide, a pressing device mounted on the main carriage and movable between a raised and a lowered position, in which the pressing device applies a pressing force, a control unit electrically connected to the guide and configured for controlling the main carriage and the auxiliary carriage on the guide and a mutual distance thereof, an actuator connected to the pressing device and configured to move the pressing device between the raised position and the lowered position. The control unit is configured to command the variation of the mutual distance between the main carriage and the auxiliary carriage so as to activate the actuator, which is operatively interposed between the pressing device and the auxiliary carriage.
